Hats off to you sir! Even though I installed the same shock, I went down the rabbit hole and watched all 10 recordings. Your organizational skills are IMMACULATE. 👏

Thankyou...I really appreciate your positive feedback! Sounds like you put the Penske 8900E on the rear....did you modify the front in the same way also...with the Stoltec Moto kit?

@@meticulousmechanic Yes I did. Stoltec suspension gives you more control at higher speeds. Took me a few hundred miles to break in and set suspension for the ride. I also paid my local suspension expert instal Stoltech Moto springs, valves and 10 eight oil.
For now, I have to pull the engine so I'm going to try to set up a tripod and lift the engine out, install shift forks, if that's why I'm stuck in first and second gear. This repair might be over my head, we'll see.

@@chrishoefer1385 Sounds like fun (removing the engine)....if you set up a camera (I used my google pixel 5A for all the videos I just made) on a tripod and recorded at 1080p horizontal with a lavalier microphone for good audio, maybe you could make a total engine disassembly video lol....I figured for each video that I've made, that it takes about 2-3 hours to get all the shots for one hour of actual work due to setting up the tripod and planning the shot. Depending on how well the shots came out, it then takes another 2-4 hours to edit out all the dead space etc...(I used the free version of Microsoft Clipchamp for editing) Long story short, I probably spent about 180 hours on the 64 videos I made so far(the pay is worse than a "will work for food franchise"lol)...originally I started making the videos just so I could get everything back together....they did save me once on the radiator overflow bottle where I had a spacer on the wrong side, and I had to refer back to the video to see how it went. I would imagine this would be paramount when completely disassembling an engine... that is the easy part. Obviously getting it back together is the hard part lol! Let me know how it goes....Thanks Robert

if you leave out the top shock bolt, you can lift the rear wheel higher and you can then access the linkage bolt to torque up. i also found fitting the lower linkage bolt an absolute nightmare.
