I had headaches with the PI7s S1s heavy bass and precise but very loud treble. The PI7 S2 have a more controlled bass and a little less dbs on the treble which fits perfect for me and gets voices and mids more in the front.
Nice. Felt the bass was just a touch too forward in the Pi7's but, great sound overall. Was considering getting the Pi7S2 or the B&O EX for my next set of tws. Not quite sure yet, need to do more research on both

the pi7 s1 has so many connection errors, especially when you take one of them out of your ear, the other sometimes disconnect. Is this s2 fix those connections error yet?
I just ordered the pi7 s2. Seems like the best overall in it'd range. Order through crutchfield get both and return the one you don't want. Or get one see if you like it and if you don't try the other.
imo its better than z1r but technically it isnt, same for blox in sense theyre very pleasing to hear, wo the need of 'highend experience', really theyre for someone planning to step up their audio journey
PI7 S2 has more punch and rumble, while the ZE8000 has this sort of delicate and less aggressive warmth to it. 7S2 has a little less emphasis in the low and mid treble, but a bit more extension in the high treble, and vice verse for the ZE8000. Aside from its really heavy and impactful bass, the PI7 is closer to having a balanced sound - it's not at all a balanced signature, just relative to the ZE8000. Both have excellent sound stages: 7S2 is bigger, but the 8000 does a really great job with positioning different parts. I'm currently working on a video in which I compare all of the wireless units I've gone over this month if you check back tomorrow or the day after! Both of these are in it.
@@boromcom Also in the video that will be up shortly! Fokus Mystique has less subs, bass, and density in general, still a punchy mid bass. Better distinction between low end and mids then both of the PI's, but still has some low mid warmth. Treble is fantastic - PI7 has more airy qualities to its treble, but the Mystique's high end is arguably on par with wired IEMs in the same price range. Personally, Fokus Mystique might have my favorite wireless balance when it comes to in-ears, but its imaging is 2D and linear (nonetheless a well done linearity). PI7 S2 has it easily beat in the sound stage department.

@Manuel Garcia J I've tried the beoplay ex, and they were nice, but at standard setting a little sharp at louder volumes and not enough bass.

I recently lost the case for my Pi7 and was wondering if they can be used with a Pi5 case instead? Any help is much appreciated

If connectivity, battery life, and ANC are serving you fine with the S1, eh, don't worry about it.
Less boom and more precise bass, more mids, little less high treble. Love it! Sold my S1.
