- Long time no see! I've still been streaming frequently on my twitch channel at twitch.tv/tk_anakin . Sorry that I've been lacking here on TH-cam... But I'm back! This one's kind of difficult, but it explains a high level technique that world-class players use OFTEN to try and block both mid/low options without a big commitment one way or the other. Fuzzy guard/parry has been around forever so I do my best to try and explain for you guys. Enjoy!

I've never really thought about how top players moved in this game. In my scrub mind I thought it was just kbd the fuck out and dash block. This is some great insight Anakin, appreciate videos like this. Usually players explain the concept but don't explain the reasoning behind them

i added this to my routine a while back, glad I did as it helped loads reacting to lows
I'm glad you point out that this is aimed at advanced players. I feel like too many people might want to try this themselves and just eat all of the mids.

This reminds me of the video of anakin(jack) vs jdcr(drag) in the 2019 twt finals.Mishima building was the stage. Everything was working for anakin in the final match to the point where in the last round jdcr had a huge life deficit after eating a bunch of jack's pokes. There was a point in that round wher jack just stood still in front of dragunov and jdcr's drag is fuzzy guarding for his life lookin like he got a seizure. Shit was mad.
Too bad that shit didn't work on Arslan. Anakin got his shit pushed in

Question. Is the command back back df? Or do u df first which registers as a fuzzy and then back dash. Which comes first? Is it possible to do a Korean back dash then fuzzy parry as well. I always see knee backdashing and low parrying out of nowhere... Do people also sidestep/sidewalk into low fuzzy parry well? Last question i saw your video about sidestep then backdash. When u tap up or down to sidestep are u holding up or down for a split second or just tapping u or down without holding then backdashing. Thx much appreciated guys!
Of course. Movement in tekken gives you the ability to move your character any way you'd like. Parry first back dash later. Backdash parry backdash. You're combining movements to create some fluid footwork.
Backdashing all day or standing still fuzzy parrying lows won't work alone. Do what you feel is right but movement in tekken requires you to be quick and light on your feet

When I do low parry with bryan paul or drag I always get a crouch dash how do I get rid of that

There's no fucking way you can react to a jack low lmao, you need to commit to predict a low parry or eat a mid if you guessed wrong
Why not Just Block or Parry on reaction ?.......should'nt that be a High level ?????
Not every low is reactable, lows like that are know as unseeable lows because you can’t see it and then react to it you have to predict it coming beforehand in order react in time.
