JJ, what is your opinion of Brad Whitford? For the last 40 years, it seems like everyone always discusses Joe Perry. Perry is a great player, but without Brad, Aerosmith would be so very different. It just seems he never gets his due.

I've been trying all my life. I've gotten ok at it thanks to people like you and Tom at playguitarsolos. But it doesn't seem to come naturally. You are being modest. It's guys like you that I think are better than the original artists because you can do them all. They can only play their songs. You can play their songs in their style and jump right into someone else's style and nail it. I am aiming higher. I'm aiming at you. I appreciate your channel so much. Steve

Saw em' at Sullivan Stadium in Foxboro in the 80s, they did a bunch of the early stuff.... they kicked ass.
Saw them in Mansfield, MA on the Pump tour. Black Crowes opened before they hit it big. Great show!

The three times I've seen Aerosmith, Brad was the best guitar player on the stage.

Actually, I only hear one guitar during the verses, which I've always assumed was Brad.

Love it! I drew the line at Draw the Line. Everything after that didn't keep my interest.

how is the remix different than the original?
Listen to both and you'll hear the difference. The remix has all kinds of reverb added, especially to the drums. It's awful.
I hear it. Although, "awful"is a little strong.
Awful is in the ear of the beholder.
I can't be objective. That song is part of my childhood AND young-adulthood.
