One man had a dream, a second man put his soul into making that dream a reality and then he presented the first man with his creation, The first man took that creation and in turn he put his own soul into playing it. Synergy at its very finest.
Do it yourself bro! You can.. Just get creative watch videos on how to do the parts you think you can't and make it your passion project..Have a vision and go get it!
Well having a modular case is already a start, but its not the solution for everyone. But besides the "my setup is different from all others" you can build your own monosynth tailored at your wishes. Now, you cant "save" patches or play polifonicly (you could but with Eurorack its a hassle) so there are compromises.
You inspired me to rearrange my modular to look and feel more inspiring. It actually worked and I started playing it differently and made better music. Super weird, but I'm not fighting it
I get it. I'm not a musician, I'm an engineer. Sometimes I modify a tool to make it better and it makes me use it more, and use it better. Simplest thing I did was build an ultra-flexible cable for my soldering iron, so it no longer fights me when I do precision joints. Now I want to solder everything. Some people say comfort makes us lazy and change makes us inefficient while we adapt. They are wrong.
I must admit, having one of Hulten’s synths would probably be the end of me because I would be frozen in a constant state of technorgasm. It never fails to impress when great design and functionality are strongly featured. High marks all around, you crafty bastard.
"The sum of all parts is exponential". That really captures it. Well said. I really appreciate your ability to be deliberate and elegant at once. Not only in your music but in your expressions.
I discovered your channel a few days ago after seeing you with Sam/LMNC, just working through some of your older videos, but, had to comment on this - that improv is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard - that mix of the natural resonance of a piano with the totally synthetic clarity of the MegaFM, stunning. New +SUB for sure.
how you managed to achieve such coarse, chiptune voices one second and these floaty pads the next is awesome! will love to see how you use this in the barcelona show!!
Your improv stepped right out of time, very beautiful. I really liked the small incidental details of the creaks in the room. It's strange how those tiny accidents bring recordings to life.
I just checked out his site. Love Hultén has created some very clean, simple and lovely looking pieces. Would definitely make a good you tube piece to cover his work. Great video, sounds fantastic.
How about Korg NTS-2 behind the round screen as an oscilloscope with some cellophane over the screen to make it more unusual? Or Game Changer Audio plasma drive distortion(s)..
this is so beautiful, cuckoo... the music, your new synth, your love for your new synth, & the fact that this fellow in gothenburg is doing these projects... all such really lovely stuff.
You really created a serene spot in time that was lightly strewn with wonder at beauty even beyond that moment. What a lovely piece of music. Thank you for it.
Magnificent !! Excellent and desirable work from Love Hultén !! Again and again dear Cuckoo: deeply thanks for the ride and for the discover. May the force still being with you, take care of yourself and yours.
Like I died for a few minutes and everything is so calm and sincere. Lovely made machine for lovely made sounds. Works like a fluffy kitten, very soothing. You're true Bob Ross of music world. That was really inspiring!
That was great. Music is so important for all of space and time. You know, I'm lying in my bed with a head cold/headache. I just closed my eyes while listening to your gift. You helped me to translocate to a different world. Thank you, man. Blessings.
this track is really really great, like some lost piece of Takashi Kokubo and Hiroshi Yoshimura. thanks, it took me out of reality for a moment. also the synth looks beautiful
I have so many concepts that I want him to build and so many I want to commission but there’s literally no possibility I could ever afford it. I don’t even know the price, I just know it will be outrageously high. One of the newer ideas I’ve been toying with is taking the complete behringer system 55 and completely modifying all the modules to be as absolutely small as possible, with the jacks cut off. Every circuit will then be combined into a single panel for a 49-61 key keyboard, with all modules being routed to a matrix mixer. So what you’re left with is a gorgeous and relatively compact system 55 non modular keyboard. My ultimate design and the one I dream of owning is a single dual manual keyboard with a Rhodes mk8 on bottom, a Hammond b3 cut single manual, and either a pair of moog minis or a moog one with keyboard chopped off, or a system 55 with dual sequencer on top. The b3 pedals would be modified with a Taurus pedal. The Rhodes pedal swapped out for a trip of game changer audio sustain pedals modified to look like a standard 3 pedal piano setup. This all running through a Leslie and Rhodes concert speaker smashed together into the ultimate keyboard speaker. All matching exotic wood and all controls, knobs and what not matching. The PERFECT keyboard. Every sound i would ever need.
Cuckoo - you are so chilled my friend - I feel like I'm meditating when I come here.... Hopefully I can make it to Barcelona for your collaboration with LMNC and H :)
Love that improv - reassured me that you don’t have to be playing at 300bpm to be a musician. I’ll have to try something similar on our keyboards. PS - the reverb ‘periscope’ took me right back to the old Buster Crabbe ‘Flash Gordon’ shows - you could drop it into a 1930’s rocket ship and it would look like it was part of the OEM!
That is flippin lovely. I liked it the instant I set eyes on it. The other gear is pretty spectacular too. Its just so distinctive and original. I'd love a real up close tour of that with the screen going and such. Look forward to it!
That was a beautiful little piece. If anyone was to make a new Never Ending Story movie this piece had alot of emotion...like your horse in a swamp of sadness emotion. Haunting sad and beautiful piece.
So pretty! can’t wait to jam again buddy
You're the guy that found it repulsive that Germans would celebrate German music.
Thank you so much, man! See you at band practise ❤️
@@truecuckoo I haven’t heard that sentence in years 🥲
😀
@Dave Ring Wholeheartedly agree!
That improv was beautiful
I believe the look and feel of a synth really affects how we interact with it and therefore what sounds come out of it. Beautiful sounds!
One man had a dream, a second man put his soul into making that dream a reality and then he presented the first man with his creation, The first man took that creation and in turn he put his own soul into playing it. Synergy at its very finest.
Very well said my friend 😊
Now this is really cool, I hope more and more people start doing things like this so we can all have individual looking bits of gear no one else has.
Do it yourself bro! You can.. Just get creative watch videos on how to do the parts you think you can't and make it your passion project..Have a vision and go get it!

I feel really touched by this beautiful “jam”. It also resonates like an _au revoir_ piece for the loss of our complice, Dave Smith.
❤️❤️❤️

❤️🙏🏼 thank you!
This is gorgeous. So cool that you ordered a custom piece from Love Hultén. It's amazing! Sonar is a perfect excuse.
Very cinematic feel - I love the subtle romantic tone at the end. Kind of reminded me the Memories of Green from Blade Runner Soundtrack.
As a woodworker I’ve admired Love Hulten’s work for a long time. Superb craftsmanship and design sense
I wanna do that to all my gear, this is what the industry is lacking imo, a good chunk of visual art in the machines.
It's because bespoke things will always be much more valuable.
My God Cuckoo, thank you for this. Your music is always inspiring and Love’s creations are post modern classics. Simply astonishing!
💛
Beautiful machine, beautiful sounds!
Thank you so much Colin!

Thank you so much Daniel! I appreciate it ❤️🙏🏼
I can listen to an entire hour long album of just you playing that synth with that piano. Took me to another universe
This is so beautiful. Love the improvisation and the synth of course looks absolutely awesome. 💚
Marvellous creation.
how you managed to achieve such coarse, chiptune voices one second and these floaty pads the next is awesome! will love to see how you use this in the barcelona show!!
Great job! Great knob-job too!
I’ve been following Love Hulten for years and have always wanted one of his Minilogue reworks
The MegaFM is very cool.
Beautiful design.
Beautiful performance and I love the design of the instrument. With the periscope it kinda looks like the synthesizer is listening to you
Beautiful performance - I especially love how the mellow old upright piano tones blend with the vintage FM synth pads. 👍

Hearing you play and hearing your appreciation for the design is making me motivated man. I wish this was longer :) Thank you

That's a film score, right there!
Love the design!
Thanks for showing us this guy’s work! His designs are amazing!
I have seen these creations on the internet. They look so nice. It's fun to watch a good musician play one.
You really created a serene spot in time that was lightly strewn with wonder at beauty even beyond that moment. What a lovely piece of music. Thank you for it.
Beautiful! You are an inspiration! I’m excited for your upcoming gig!
Magnificent !! Excellent and desirable work from Love Hultén !! Again and again dear Cuckoo: deeply thanks for the ride and for the discover. May the force still being with you, take care of yourself and yours.

Wonderful tribute to an amazing work of art.
what it is to make music with all these tools, amazing
felt like i was in a different place for a few minutes. a sad place with blue wood, and pink leaves. thanks man. that was beautiful.
Creating _one of a kind_ art that's a nexus of what we love most, all in one beautiful design. What a great idea!
Strymon blue sky reverb, my favorite reverb, it works on everything - every reverb works on everything
The production value just drips passion. This is your best video yet. ❤️
❤️❤️❤️❤️ thank you so much Kloe!

Oh I can’t believe you got one ! I’ve been eyeing off his work for a while just stunning! I’m sure this will make that gig all the more special
Lovely combination. As a piece of art, that synth station is beautiful. Look forward to an in-depth review and performance with it.
Wow wow wow 🤩 Beautiful bit of kit and beautiful examples too ❤️
Love: Love's designs
Hate: How Facebook scammers constantly steal them for fake products
Love: This jam
Absolutely beautiful! The sound and the aesthetic! I agree completely about the overall package drawing you in. It's nice to have your own instrument.
The funnel looks like a 90degree flat to round elbow duct connector - very creative!
Wow! Very beautiful MUSIC! So unusual minor for you, release it bro!
I agree with everyone else -- this is just lovely. Thank you so much.
❤️🙏🏼
Beautiful my friend and that design is so perfect for you!
Unique design and very nice improvisation ;)
Man I could easily listen to an hour+ of this!

Beautiful concept & execution. Love! ... The improv also is super beautiful
Bonkers design and cool sounding demo! Some boring midikeyboards should learn from this one!
Wow what a design genius. That synth looks stunning. Cuckoo lives in a blue submarine. Sublime piece of music.

Loved this! Listened to this right before I clocked in at work! It’s going to be a magical day!
That was great. Music is so important for all of space and time. You know, I'm lying in my bed with a head cold/headache. I just closed my eyes while listening to your gift. You helped me to translocate to a different world. Thank you, man. Blessings.

This upright piano!!!! OMG!!!! You could do a sample pack!
I’m really happy for you man. Have a great gig in Barcelona
Thanks 🙏🏼
Beautiful jam man. Hope to visit Cuckoo's nest again soon!
Thanks! You’re welcome any time! Great to have you here 🙏🏼
Cuckoo - you are so chilled my friend - I feel like I'm meditating when I come here.... Hopefully I can make it to Barcelona for your collaboration with LMNC and H :)
Really appreciate the playing and where it ended. Thank you.
Reverb is stunning
Love that improv - reassured me that you don’t have to be playing at 300bpm to be a musician. I’ll have to try something similar on our keyboards.
