You should've done the Citadel DLC and put the near empty squad photo, is haunting and sad. Also shooting the star child might have been a worst ending that destroy.
At least in the Refuse ending the less-advanced species are spared, the mass relays and citadel survive, and it's implied that the next cycle was able to defeat the Reapers. Low-EMS Destroy saves a remnant of the spacefaring species, but at the cost of most of the non-spacefaring species also dying (star child says that "few organics will survive," not just spacefaring organics) along with all of the Geth, and also ruins the galactic infrastructure and causes post-apocalyptic situations galaxy-wide, with all of the chaos that entails. I'd say that Low-EMS Destroy causes more harm than it prevents, especially if you value all sapient lives equally and not just the spacefaring organics (who are the only ones to benefit from Low-EMS Destroy).
Watch "The Saddest party on the citadel" on youtube, they also killed everyone and did the DLC, it's really empty and the cool moments are lame, it's funny

It's almost a work of art. And the intestinal fortitude it would take to complete this project of poor choices was on par with none other. Bravo sir, bravo.
Now that you’ve done this, I’m curious. What is the absolute maximum amount of War Assets you can get in a playthrough? What does Mass Effect 3 consider to be a “perfect run” through the trilogy?
Holy fuck. That was really hard to watch but interesting.. never have I thought this would be an outcome for mass effect 3, when I did my worst play through on purpose it was bad, but what you’ve done is truly horrifying. Well done sir! 👏🏾👏🏾

Wait....squadmates can die during the conduit charge?! I've beaten this game an unholy amount of times and I never knew that was even a thing. I weirdly like the extended cut on this outcome of the ending, it really hammers home how hard the reapers were to beat.
Apparently if you leave Jack alive and she gets taken from Grissom Academy and you fight her as a Phantom in the Cerberus Base mission, her name doesn't appear on the wall. I tried it myself.
7:45 There is a very high chance that Zaeed survived that. The man is a beast. He'd be back between ME2 and ME3 with a new set of burn scars and bullet with Shepard's name on it.
Joker's expression as he desperately tries to escape the blast absolutely destroys me. Thank you for making this, so I never have to suffer through an actual playthrough of seeing everyone I love die because of how stupid I was!
Same, that was the worst one for me. First, there's the panic. Then there's the fire and sparks right behind his ears. Then, once the explosion catches up and starts banging the back of the ship around, tearing it apart. Poor Joker, man, he deserved way better.
Thank you for this video, because i NEVER could do all of that in one playthrough. It would totally break me too. I always have to be a little paragon, even with my renegade runs.

It's pretty obvious that Jacob isn't the right choice for the door assignment but everything throughout ME2 suggested that Miranda is more than capable to hold the goddamn barriers, from the fact that she was created to be the perfect human to the fact that she said any biotic would be able to do the job.
This actually hurt my heart to watch. Thank you for doing the thing that no one else was brave enough to do.
SO BE IT (reaper voice)
I'm happy to say that I'm part of the 0.1% of people that did that crazy thing of killing the entire galaxy, and then tried the citadel DLC
Nani?
And what happens?
Watch "The Saddest party on the citadel" on youtube, they also killed everyone and did the DLC, it's really empty and the cool moments are lame, it's funny
Amazing video! Kudos to you for suffering through this so that we didn’t have to.
Shepard shooting Mordin really hurt...
Letting Chakwas die was literally the worst part of this video. Just Brutal.
I also like how Joker is just sick of your shit in ME3 with the Rachni queen lol
Joker listing off the people who died so far made me laugh uncontrollably.😂
You killed Garrus and Mordin! Unforgivable! 😭😭😭
Well, to be fair, someone else might have gotten it wrong ;)
WHo cares about that dammed Turian. He always perishes on my playthroughs.

“Now this is a man who knows how to kill his squad” - Captain Anderson
Mass Effect is my favorite games of all time and I really thought I seen all the cutscenes but this video blew my mind and I had no idea that you can get your Squad killed while running down to the beam and I had no idea that ending even existed... thank you big Dan for all your work on your videos and we really do appreciate it I'm a really big fan of yours
I love that in the "evry bad decision" playthrough, he picks Ashley on Virmie. Proof that she truly is the worse option.
Cope
Dan: *chooses to save ashley over kaiden*
Me: yes. This is the darkest timeline indeed.
I thought the same thing: " Whelp.... all downhill from here..."
Well, actually, I usually save her. She is more interesting.
@@kevinthunder3375 your not wrong, but she is more interesting in the worst way possible
Kaiden who?
@@sirpotatolord2219 eh not really. She seems real. Plus, I love her relationship with her family. Especially her sisters.
I feel like Blonde Shepard did the ending of ME2 slightly worse. Only Morinth survived.
Such a cold hearted playthrough, thanks for doing this so i don't have to
Dude you must have really wanted to show us this if you were willing to get every squadmate killed I would never do a playthrough like that
Funny how you made this video just now as I was also thinking of doing a pure chaotic playthrough doing the absolute worst ways to do the trilogy. Imagine doing a live stream of these worst choices and seeing that chat freak out?! XD
I was actually in ME2 of my "fuck it up" playthrough but stopped when I saw he was working on this. It hurt my soul too much to kill everyone
Hackett speech at the end gave me goose bump. He believed in Shep, he believed in humanity he never given up and even if the battle was a catastrophy he take the blame. I love him
Hacketts VA perfomance is underrated
I would say technically the "refuse" choice is still objectively worse.
Zaeed screaming SHEPAAAAD and then exploding is so funny I had to rewatch it 5 times
I guess Shepard and The hero of ferelden would be great friends
It's almost a work of art. And the intestinal fortitude it would take to complete this project of poor choices was on par with none other. Bravo sir, bravo.
You’re going to have to put me on suicide watch after struggling through this Dan.
Well technically the worst ending would be Refusal, where you shoot the Catalyst, continuing the reaper cycle
Now that you’ve done this, I’m curious. What is the absolute maximum amount of War Assets you can get in a playthrough? What does Mass Effect 3 consider to be a “perfect run” through the trilogy?
i did that 3 days ago in my oldests version games on ps3 . 0% multiplayer and everyone alive
I got over 8100 on my last play through
@@BigVito109 is possible 8200
Ooh! Maybe Big Dan could help The Completionist do this if he ever chooses to cover the Mass Effect trilogy on his channel.
I got 8276
Holy fuck. That was really hard to watch but interesting.. never have I thought this would be an outcome for mass effect 3, when I did my worst play through on purpose it was bad, but what you’ve done is truly horrifying. Well done sir! 👏🏾👏🏾
Jesus Christ that Tali scene jumping to he sea gave me shivers. So sad 😓
It really seems like you are hitting your stride with these videos. Loved it!
I've completed the trilogy countless times, and there were some scenes in here that I haven't seen. Well done Dan
9:38 joker's reaction fucking killed me, just a pure "Shepard you dumbass" comment 😂😂
19:58 also the star child, his "how the fuck did you make it this far?" response lol
😂😂
Wait....squadmates can die during the conduit charge?! I've beaten this game an unholy amount of times and I never knew that was even a thing.
I weirdly like the extended cut on this outcome of the ending, it really hammers home how hard the reapers were to beat.
It also shows how BADLY you have to botch everything from Mass Effect 2 and onward
The truth is that nobody on earth is THAT cruel enough to get this ending on a blind playthrough.
Haha true...he really needs to plan to do this.
I've always wondered if this was possible. I'm so glad you went through all the trouble!
As someone who romanced Liara, seeing her get vaporized by the reaper beam made me die a little inside
This is crazy.
To think the people at BioWare wrote all these options in the game along with the plethora of other options.
And then you go ahead an actually pick all of them. I Agree that probably very few people actually had this playthrough by accident and even fewer had this on purpose.
Thanks for sharing, and yes, the Garrus bit did hurt a little.
I can't imagine the 1000s of hours he has playing this game
i feel like a "Loss" run of Mass Effect is one of the hardest challenge runs just because of the raw amount of effort and planning you have to put into trying to lose.
There's a much simpler way to get the worst ending: reject the star child's options. If you do that, everyone dies.
I will always associate those goggles and pink armor with incompetent Shepard now. It's almost like you've created your own Mass Effect icon.
