I swear the show is at its best whenever characters like Kakashi, Rock Lee, or Shikamaru are fighting. All the special eyes, tail beast forms, and Jutsu spam are cool and all, but for a show about ninjas, I just find more enjoyment watching them use hand-to-hand combat, strategies, misdirection, and just a bit of Jutsu. This is just ONE of the reasons Kakashi's my favorite.
Look for my own anime then. I have abilities but mostly just swords theft and more.
When Naruto nailed that multi punch air juggle combo on Sasuke, I cheered cuz it was so satisfying to watch. His taijutsu has really come a long way

Kakashi is the best Ninja in Naruto. An Anbu , copy ninja, a sharingan owner,became a Hokage. An interesting background story. He may not be the strongest Ninja, but his character is the best.

Kakashi and Shikamaru are the 2 best Shinobi in terms of what it means to be a ninja. Strategy, analysis, self-preservation, knowing thyself and thy enemy, teamwork, fighting enemies that are way stronger but still able to win or at least hold their own and escape alive with their comrades. Kakashi’s demeanor is so damn cool he inspired characters in other anime. Legend.

Its amazing how Kakashi became this strong supportive pillar for Naruto's generation, and even other people. Like whenever Kakashi eye-smiles and says *it's alright* , you can't help but feel reassured.
And it's amazing how he manages to do that when he rarely had anyone say that to him and comfort him.

Remember this guy fought the likes of Kakuzu, Obito, Itachi, Pain, Madara, Kaguya and yet not one of them could kill him (against pain kakashi died due to lack of chakra not by the nail). His fights have always been some of the best to watch and hes almost the perfect combination of skill, strength and brains.

Kakashi is so underrated because it took two Akatsuki members, who could not take kakashi down before Naruto turned up on the scene.
Kakashi held out against them longer than most jinchuuriki did against the Akatsuki.

Look Kakashi isn't the strongest, but strength doesn't matter. He was always my favorite Naruto character if all. This man was always so badass and confident even though he knew there were some fights he could definitely not win. Everything about him is outstanding, from defeating a seven swords mist, to standing up to itachi. I just wish we could've seen his 1000 jutsus he copied. Legend♾️
The thing with Kakashi is he may not be the strongest but he is definitely one of the most skilled
He is the most skilled. Not one of. He has over 1,000 skills and is said to be Konoha’s Top jutsu master at a time where Shinobi God Hiruzen who mastered all of Konoha’s existing jutsu reigning as Hokage (Chapter 113, page 15).
He’s said to be smarter than Shikamaru (Chapter 246, page 12) & the best jutsu analyst (597, page 1) with feats cementing the claims. He is second to none. His worst enemy is his own shortcomings (minimul chakra due to the Sharingan greatly surpressing it).
Without it, he would be Hashirama level (if not stronger) a lot sooner.
He is not the strongest, but he is not afraid to fight.
yep he is not the strongest compared to mains like arrogant and ignorant kids. but compared with others he is strong and we all know that sharingan constantly drains his chakra so he is like full time under physical and mental exhaustion meaning up until end of the war we dont see 100% kakashi only at the end of the war and maybe boruto we will see 100% kakashi but at the war he was tired and the plot required the mains to shine and kishimoto did a fan service by giving him full susanoo at the final moment to please the readers and audience cuz kakashi was like the pillar of the manga and anime
Somehow I always tear up at the fight against Obito.. the overall scene, the music.. that fight is not supposed to happen, similar to how heartbreaking the fight between Naruto and Sasuke was back then on the roof of the hospital

Kakashi was a guy who already had 2 Chakra natures when he was at the academy. Naruto was in his teens when he mastered his 1st chakra nature.
Minato was the fastest guy in the world but he was killed off to call the show Naruto and not Minato.
Tobirama literally had 100s of forbidden jutsus up his sleeve. Just 1 of those forbidden jutsus were beating the crap out the 5 great nations. But he was killed by kinkaku force like lmao 🤣.
Kishimoto literally did some of these charecters really bad.

He is not a ordinary ninja he had no special ashura power like Naruto and sauske but he fought god 's with no fear at all he is one kind of a powerful ninja

Orochimaru was Kakashi's superior in the Leaf and also intimidated him when he was young so it gave him flashbacks. All of those other people were either randoms or juniors to Kakashi so he didn't fear them like he feared Oro.

Chakra is a problem, When Kakashi uses his sharingan, it drains his chakra faster than a normal Uchiha because he isnt a uchiha

I think the main reason would be that the target audience wouldn't be able to remember all the 1000 jutsu and plus, the show isn't about Kakashi.
His intelligence is deadly. Simple techniques but great at fightning against the strong enemies.

Idk, but for me, the Copy Ninja tale of Kakashi that the show hyped on the early parts of the series wasn't really given enough screentime. I mean, some non Kakashi fans would look at him a lil different if his copy skill was incorporated in his battles. Also, I kinda assume that Kakashi knows a shit tonne of jutsus but I don't think it was ever shown throughout the series and that was something lacking in his fights. I imagine his fights to be a jutsu showdown like the fan made vid of him battling Sasuke. Man, i would really love to see his fights with no cap. Just him on a match showcasing what Kakashi is really made of.

@@mid_professor kakashi used sharingan to copy more than 1000 ninjutsu...because knew one day he has to let go of his sharingan...now you see...in boruto kakashi dont have sharingan so his chakra reserves last longer...on top of that he had mastered all 5 types of chakra nature....he knows more than 1000 ninjutsu...everybody knows that there is no one who can surpass kakashi in speed when he weaves hand signs...his taijutsu is not as good as guy but its on par with lee...his strategic ability is on par with shikamaru's father...and now he seem to have developed his own purple lightening which is similar to chidori but doesnt require sharingan...so kakasi is a complete ninja...has a good battle experience...a man worthy of being 6th hokage
