Dear brother Phap Huu, you provided a moment of instant recognition for me when you said that our parents pass on seeds of goodness that they did not have a chance to manifest or experience, and through us they get a chance to do that. Very compassionate insight, thank you! 🙏

I cannot do the traditional meditation, chanting a phrase, facing the wall, staring into something... I can do what Plum Village is advocating..just be aware of your breathing, do it in a relaxed manner, sit on chair, take a slow walk, be in the garden, or even lying down. It can be several minutes, it can be 30 minutes. But I can do it for a few minutes and I am doing it as I listen to this talk. The leisurely talk itself is a lead-in to meditation.
I cannot sit cross-legged and in the lotus position. Frankly, there ways to tune into ourselves, to practise stilling our mind and body. I will use these videos as a starting point to relax...that is the starting point of meditation.
I will find on TH-cam the hitting of the bronze bell...that ripple of sound fading into silence, is so relaxing.

Where can we grow from our difficult experience. Where can we grow from the mud, in order to allow the Lotus bloom. From now on, this will be with me in every single one of my meditation sessions. Thank you!

Such a peaceful voice and such deep teaching. I just wish people would step outside when their babies and toddlers are noisy. It’s very distracting

I usually get that feeling of emptiness when I shave my head. I remember the first night I shaved my head i couldnt sleep well. It felt like I took something away from myself that was God given. Its kind of like taking rose petals off a flower just because the flower technically still lives shouldnt we leave the flower like it was meant to be? Have a great day
