- Aloo Paratha Recipe.No Dough,No Rolling,No Kneading.Easy And Simple.
Ingredients Required
Batter
2 cups/250grams all purpose wheat flour
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 flat teaspoons salt
600ml lukewarm water.[tap water]
Spray and cook lubricant for toasting
Butter for toasting
Filling/Stuffing
5 small potatoes
1 medium onion
4 green chillies
10 mint leaves
Handful of corriander
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon jeera/cumin seeds
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon chilli power
Half teaspoon garam masala
Half teaspoon corriander/dhania powder
1 teaspoon chilli flakes
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons all purpose wheat flour and water as required for sticking paste

i like this way to the traditional style because it looks more tasty. When you roll the dough the aloo paratha becomes so thick and you can mostly taste just the roti and no potato.
The old time cooking is simple and takes less time and looks more delicious
Good presentation of your receipe.
Old tradition is better and too thick, people are health conscious seeing the amount of refined flour used spikes up your sugar but the concept is good can be good for other recipes Happy cooking ❤

It took ages to make this..I simply kneed the potato masala with the aata....roll fry and Yahoo and parathas are ready...

The traditional way is best. This method is for people who can't roll and find it difficult to make the dough,especially beginners. God bless 🙏
@@SaleemsKitchen786i also like that we can get the filling all the way to the edges. this looks soft and much better than rolled since its more fluffy. of course you used white flour than whole wheat but i like this recipe.

filling is tasty. peel and grate potatoes for a textured filling. alternative instead of wheat flour wraps, soak 2 slices of trimmed bread in water and flatten with rolling pin, spread the filling between two slices, seal edges with paste, flatten and roll again and roast with butter oil till golden brown.
Always add the mustard seeds to the oil first, let it sputter then after it stops sputtering add the cummin seeds. It should never be as shown here.

You can boil the potatoes too than add all the spices
Now that semi Cooked parothas available perhaps we can sand which the aloo masala between paranthas and bake fry
I do that with frozen rotis. Just wet the sides so they stick together and cook with little oil.

I prefer the traditional way...this isn't a traditional recipe .this is a South African way...
It looks good but I would rather do the normal process of kneading dough. It's simpler and easier and delicious

Lower the heat on yr stove for beautiful colour prevents dark brown spots.

Very long process. Authentic North Indian Aloo paratha would not taste like this one
