I did that once at my job with a sports drink. After experiencing the predictable "problems", instead of just taking the punishment like a man, the thief actually went to the boss and complained to him about it. The three of us had a sit-down and I told the boss it was my drink and I was "having some problems" (a lie, but good luck disproving that). The thief ended up getting a write-up after that for admitting he stole from a coworker, but I doubt that's the real reason people's food stopped disappearing.

To be fair, not that Rowan deserves it, but tehnically he only ate like half the brownie when he asked, whereas the quetion implies that he ate the entire brownie.

I had a boss like Rowan for two weeks. That boss was fired, brutally. You could hear the regional manager from the front door because he was yelling so loudly. The manager was escorted out by police. Good times.

We had a guy at work who was always stealing food. Funny how he stopped doing it after we chose a dinner we knew would always vanish if it was there and dosed it heavily with strong laxatives. It told us exactly who it was because of their constant visits to the toilet.
