The way I killed savant was at total level 1, being a skeleton, joining them, waiting for him to go to bed, then throwing him in the peeler upstairs and grabbing all of hit gear. lol.
I was out headed to the Leviathan place with a group of explorers, had parked them outside of the camp, was just getting supplies, had no clue who those people were. All of a sudden those Frotsam NInjas, for no reason went out and started attacking my group, and in response, my entire group rushed into her camped and slaughtered everyone -- It was completely accidental and happened before I could stop it. So... That's how I randomly became allies with Holy Nation... By the way, didn't actually even know Moll existed, or who she was only that she was my prisoner, lol.
I once met Catlon accidentally by just randomly exploring the southwest side of the map now i had 18 people working with me most of which are Shek's and when the fight started we got swarmed by thralls and Catlon instantly crippled 4 people at once by punching their limbs off.
Something that may have been a little more interesting is taking into consideration how difficult it would be to take out bosses faction down with them in the ranking. *Cough cough* holy nation

I remember capturing Lord Fenix and having him to fight my player to train, when he knocks me i just open the door to the outside and have him get blastered by 20 appons

To me, the Southern Hive Queen Guards and King himself were the hardest for me. They completely swarm and pummel you to death by sheer endless numbers.
You definitely made it seem overly simple to get into bugmaster's compound in general. I bought up all the mercenaries I could find in the southern part of the map and brought them to his crater. By the time i even reached him half of the mercenaries were being eaten alive by the sea of spiders constantly roving the land. Then, because my stealth wasn't too ridiculously high (56) his whole tower of spiders was alerted to me and I had to get out of there without even firing a single shot. I took my squad bailing out of the crater for dear life, cowering behind some rocks waiting for an opening in the hordes of spiders that are still just on patrol. The thought occurred to me that our whole raid was so insignificant to them that a good number of spiders didn't even notice. By the time I got out if spider hell, half of my squad was already dead or actively being eaten alive along with the fuggin army of 30+ mercenaries. I haven't played in a few days, mostly because Beep died in that raid and I haven't overcome the emotional damage that did to me.
The trick to getting into his lair is not an army, once you bring a squad you'll never untangle yourself from the ever present spiders and eventually the attrition will get you. You need to get in quick and quiet, solo or with a small strike team and take him down.
@@KokoplaysMB I have an update! I gathered myself, Kang, and Oron, and we snuck into the crater to get the Bugmaster. Mistakes were made. We... Did not succeed. I will say though, Kang was an absolute monster and the last man standing out of our whole group. Absolute UNIT, Oron and I were both KO'd before he even took damage (probably my fault honestly) but the sheer number of skin spiders got him eventually. I tried to get him out before he died but his legs were chewed up, so it became a valiant last stand instead. Great game!
You can defeat his army of spiders. Just create a decent squad with good protection, a proficiency in either Sabres (use desert sabres since they have a huge bonus against spiders) or polearms (great reach and bonus against animals), and bring some garrus since theu can attack many enemies at once. Then once you've taken down the spiders make sure to bring your garrus to fight Bugmaster since he can't really block them.
Interesting how I literally just yesterday walked to cat-lon with beep and 10 robots (6 created, 3 uniques and 1 fresh reqruit who's below 10 on all stats) took him and all his thralls out, but for the life of me I cannot take on Holy lord phoenix and his goons... I get dropped, my stuff taken and jailed.. I'd put him into S tier to be honest.. came here because I'm afraid of southern hive but want that queens polearm for my new guy. We all in meitou and rusted samurai gear for style points.
The paladin's cross has massively increased damage to robots and high armor piercing. Heavy armored skeletons are basically the worst matchup for Phoenix.

Our crew of 60+ just captured Eyegore in the Eyegore assault while we were trying to invade Stoat because of our old base there and our bad relation with the UC. Most of us are in the 40 in this mission. But we have 40 archers. Eyegore has no head protection and cannot defend against crossbows. We did not even know he was coming because we were very busy fighting the gate guards and the Trader's Guild there. Eyegore is very strong otherwise. Our strongest guy is lvl 58 and he was KOed. We have more than 170 recruits, including animals. We work as a big team and our goal is to colonize the entire kenshi map. And it is Day 184.
You state often that "They have a Meitou blade, so they're not very special" when Meitou blades are the rarest weapon in the game, and therefore the definition of special. I think you mean to say that while their weapons are special, their stats and other gear are not as good. Which is strange, because in my playthroughs these bosses usually have masterwork/specialist grade gear and I'm not even using item-changing mods. Is this a translation error?
I think that's just personal bias about weapons and armor. I feel like it's not that it was a Meitou that was the issue, it's because it was a Jitte. Or x undesirable weapon, whatever that may be. They're all desirable to me, because I like money.
Phoenix should be A tier. He has 14 powerful guards, his personal bodyguard is the strongest human character in the game, he has very good stats himself-85 in everything makes him top 5 human NPCs, plus good armour and one of the best meitou weapons. Iirc the only NPCs with better stats are his own bodyguard, eyegore, cat-lon, general jang, armour king, tinfist, bugmaster (no gear), esata (but with much worse armour and a weapon she cant use properly), and king. Moll is a little worse, and so are the inquisitors and other robot generals.
Couple a days ago we fought him on the stream playthrough. UWE mod gives him masterwork crab armor and many many many more spooders. He was definitely S tier there.
I would put the cannibal grand wizard below King Gurgler, Cannibal Wizard is easy especially because Tech Hunters and cannibal hunters visit his domain frequently, no one comes to help you with the gurglers but otherwise I think you're spot on

Where would you rank Mukai the Mountain? Major or Minor? I feel like since he only spawns if Esata is captured he might not be a Major boss at that point because the Shek are weakened by then, but he's still fairly bad ass.
I tried an experiment with the fishman they’re limbs are stupid tough I threw a regular and alpha in the peeler machine and the first one died but the alpha it took -300 to take of his arm some went to -400 as for the king his was stupid hard too they don’t bleed out that easily too
yes sadly Mad Cat Lon is no match for Tinfist, I tried unleashing him on Tinfist but the martial arts did not give him a chance. He was able to chop off Bugmaster's leg though.
The bug master is hard if he manages to make contact with you because when I sent in my really best to beat his ass they couldn’t land a hit for majority of the time because of how quick he was but if he hit you holy shit some of the elite lost arms from a single hit 😂
I went to one of the ruins or something to the set of black desert city.. there were a bunch of headless robots and a leader worth 30k bounty.. he had a meitu sword.. then I carried him south to the smugglers run or something like that. I got in a bed and dropped the guy. He pulled out a meitu pole arm Then I took that too.
tbf i always forget that mf even exists, the main reason for that i think is because like, who tf is gonna fight him? there is literally not a single reason to interact or face him in the entire game
UWE adds that to him. You can still kite him out of the tower to the point his spiders will stop following and then slowly bring him down with ranged attacks while tanking him with heavy armoured units.
Is this video ranking bosses coolness or their difficulty? Also if its by difficulty, then does it not include the cheap tricks to win, like how when you fight some of the bosses, you can steal their sword while they sleep then as they wake up you defeat them?
Stealth is to op in this game thats why i promised to not use stealth either for scouting and locpicking chest. But no assassination and kidnapping, for me is boring. I want to see an epic battles with my army clashing against theirs, if some limbs are lost is no big deal just get new ones.

I have to say, if you take combat difficulty (without using assassination) as the major factor in this tier list, I bet you would switch things around. There is no way tin-fist is above cat-lon when his biggest weakness is being swarmed. Cat-lon's army is way stronger.
You can run into Cat-lons place and run out with everyone chasing you. His guards will give up real fast while he's gonna continue to chase and you can 1v1 him then, which is easier than 1v1 vs Tinfist
Bugmaster should be higher. It's not his fault the Kenshi devs made it where you couldn't target people with Diplomatic status. It's such a cheap and shitty concept that I hope is not im Kenshi 2.
My way of defining a hard one, it's looking at: Assassination difficulty Theft difficulty And if it's approachable It's easy to get to savant, it's easy steal his armor and it easy knock him while sleeper and then take him out of the place
i remember my first meeting with eyegore as yesterday. ah another assault at my base? didnt even care. untill i noticed some of my guys with 75+ stats went unconcious. what the hell is going on... wait, why is this huge looking hive whooping my guys left or right ?! thats how i met eyegore. ever since i fear him. Esata is the only boss i've defeated so far who actually managed to kill one of my 90+ stats guy. one swing and the guy just dropped dead. crazy
If we're counting the tower of spiders, out of everything in this game, even royal valley king, that was the only thing that managed to kill one of my guys, if you are unprepared in the slightest you will die 100%.
@@metaldoji I thought there would have been like maybe 10 spiders at most, I did not expect like 50 blood spiders. The only reason I lived is because my team was insane, full masterwork gear with edgewalker and meitou weapons and like at least 70 dex on everyone and I barely survived.
I just did this yesterday for the first time and i was shocked how easy it was. I put down the bugmaster so fast that I'd thought i missed him. What gave you trouble?
@@jasonreimer5736 This is the tower of spiders, not the bug master, and fighting 300 spiders indoors is fucking impossible. Outdoors you can spread them out and take them on separately, you can just kite them, you can do all kinds of stuff, but when you're indoors you just get stunlocked and fucked. I didn't have an army either, I had only about 5 guys. They're also blood spiders so when you get knocked out they try to eat you, and if you can't get reinforcements down there fast enough there's nothing you can do.

Maybe is the turrets, they are broken, but the thralls are quite weak so maybe you just pile on poor cat lon

i remember my first meeting with eyegore as yesterday. ah another assault at my base? didnt even care. untill i noticed some of my guys with 75+ stats went unconcious. what the hell is going on... wait, why is this huge looking hive whooping my guys left or right ?! thats how i met eyegore. ever since i fear him.
Esata is the only boss i've defeated so far who actually managed to kill one of my 90+ stats guy. one swing and the guy just dropped dead. crazy
If we're counting the tower of spiders, out of everything in this game, even royal valley king, that was the only thing that managed to kill one of my guys, if you are unprepared in the slightest you will die 100%.

@@metaldoji I thought there would have been like maybe 10 spiders at most, I did not expect like 50 blood spiders. The only reason I lived is because my team was insane, full masterwork gear with edgewalker and meitou weapons and like at least 70 dex on everyone and I barely survived.
I just did this yesterday for the first time and i was shocked how easy it was. I put down the bugmaster so fast that I'd thought i missed him. What gave you trouble?
@@jasonreimer5736 This is the tower of spiders, not the bug master, and fighting 300 spiders indoors is fucking impossible. Outdoors you can spread them out and take them on separately, you can just kite them, you can do all kinds of stuff, but when you're indoors you just get stunlocked and fucked. I didn't have an army either, I had only about 5 guys. They're also blood spiders so when you get knocked out they try to eat you, and if you can't get reinforcements down there fast enough there's nothing you can do.
