Very nice! The hardening has got more colours that a wet petrol station floor. Also do you have a cold Jon? You sound like Jeremy Clarksons love child.
Since it's from a very fine Italian maker, one expects good taste. They deliver. Personally, I don't like gold lettering (or any lettering) on the sides of the barrels. The case hardening and engraving could hardly be better. Several obvious flaws in the wood-to-metal fit are objectionable. Otherwise, very nice indeed.
Dear Mr. Carter, something of a mental exercise, Let's say you were down to your last 150,000 in the firearms account and you were set to buy a new pair, would it be (A) the Purdey Trigger plate game guns or (B) the Browning B25 Hunting in grade D? As you are so intimately familiar with fine things I thought you'd be the one to ask. Thanks
To be honest, I haven’t spent anywhere near enough time behind the new purdey trigger plate guns so to choose between them based on personal experience would be unfair. I shall see if purdey will let me have a go with a trigger plate and I can give you an informed decision
Hey Jonny it’s my birthday next month. (Wink, wink, nod nod) That is a beautiful gun!!! Thanks for sharing! PS I think you still have my address on where to send it😉😉
Luciano builds guns that In some distant and lucky future I could possibly afford. Fabbri is 3x the price or there abouts. It’s a hard/unfair comparison to make 😂
@@tgsoutdoors From little acorns Jonny these guns have their roots in arguably one of the best handling 12g S/S ever made which you have already had an audience with.
If I spent 100 or 200 thousand dollars on a shotgun, I'm sure I wouldn't get to enjoy it for more than a day! My wife, however, would enjoy it for many years to come.

That bluing makes the steel look like it's made of opal, belisima!
Can't stop watching this video. What an incredible masterpiece of fine gunmaking !!!!!.......... Thanks Jonny.
Look out Holts if I ever win the lottery. What an incredible piece of craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing.
Not a patch on your new onyx
The art of the gun maker at its best. 👌
Foe me, the Beretta 490 Serpentina is still the most beautiful gun I’ve ever seen.
Excellent. Thank you for bringing beautiful guns to us mortals.
That is a very pretty shotgun, thanks for showing us.
Love the way you described this gun. It's an exceptional firearm for certain .
Wonderful John, I personally could do without the gold enbellishment although I find silver inlay can be very attractive. All to Ower own.
Always admired them and there is Salvinelli, Famars , so many beautiful guns where does it end?
I would be able to open the bidding but I would not be able to close it! What a beautiful piece of functional art! But there is still Rizzini!
Rizzini's improvement in boxlock engineering is one of the things that make them especially interesting. Then there is Fabbri!
One has to have dream guns! Rizzini still make some exceptional pieces to be fair.
If it wasn't for the the gold inlay I would definitely buy the gun
Beautiful! Side plate over unders aren't in my taste but appreciate fine work that is a piece of art
It also has barrels that are the wrong way!
Hey! In Italy we also have F.A.I.R shotguns. How about a review of the Carrera series?
Couldn't agree more jonny MASTERPIECE. Shocking Frank Bruno impersonation though mate.
I'm new to shotguns and appreciate the beautiful craftsmanship of this gun. My question is would someone actually use this in the field?
Most definitely
Thank you so much for sharing such a amazing review . Well spoken
I am a Superposed fan but this gun is wonderful. I would love to own it and just look at it and hold it.
My favorite gun you've reviewed

That is beautiful ! , It's so well executed .
I don't usually go for fancy myself but that is so good.
Johnny you better book a hotel room!
Hi just wondering when or if your going to do a review on the Sauer Apollon 12 thanks 👍
Personally I'll take a custom Perugini & Visini or a custom Perazzi High Tech sc5
Very nice, but I LOVE my best English Watson brothers Kell engraved 1926 pair - perfect for me in every way from walked up grouse to high pheasants ….
You are a very lucky man.
Magnifico! 👍🏼
There's no country that makes shotguns better than Italy, Benelli, Beretta, Franchi...
Fabbri
Perazzi 👍🏼
Does anyone know how much it went for at auction please?
Just out of interest :)
The answer is Miroku.
😂 😂 always!
Whew! I had to go out for a cigarette after that and I don't even smoke.
A bit nicer them my SP1, thanks for sharing, i will check my lottery ticket
Very nice!

Luciano over Fabbri?

Time you shot a David Mackay Brown Jonny...
I have shot a few. Lovely things.

They are certainly top tier. I feel a top 10 top end game guns video coming on.

Please , be Yourself , not Your wife , if not she not worth it .
Yeah, but will it eat steel shot? 😂
Standard steel, if not too tightly choked.
Suits you Johnny go on treat yourself
If everyone chipped in….
Super
Did you need a cold shower after filming this?
What's happened to your voice? Gone very lloyd Groseman
😍😍😍😍😍😋
😮😍😎👍😁
I'm Sorry but I am not a fan of the case hardeneing, "blueing colour" action, metal work , it detracts from the engravers art work .
It looks and feels like a fine woman according to you.
Yes. This may give me less trouble though
@@tgsoutdoors yes probably cheaper in the long run too.
@@tgsoutdoors depends on the type of trouble you are talking about, or want ! Lol.
