Yo, I made over 100k by buying oats and selling it. Bought at 1300 per bag (pallets are 1400) and sold for 2357. Just buy a huge semi trailer and load it up, wait for the swing and sell. Fist time it paid for my semi and trailer. Second time it paid for my chicken coops.

It only works in easy mode though... In normal, if you are lucky, you'll make almost 10% profit in January, but it's not worth it because just the wear on you equipment will even it out!
And don't even think about doing this in hard mode...
I just made some contracts for sliage bales. It was worth 24k for the job. Used rented equipment. It came with bale autoload trailer for 24 bales. Did 2 courses with it and contract was completed with like 6.7k going extra as mine.Another 25 bales left anyway on the field. So I used rented equipment and delivered them. Got another 28k. So totally I got 24k for contract (minus leasing hardware fee) + nearly 55k extra. On normal economy. Silage is ready straight away and you don't need to wait for fermentation. I also did loads of contracts for crops like whet, barley, sorghum, oats and others and got over 100k liters of all seeds extra from them. My farm is pretty small and I am not doing any crops myself. Just have greenhouses, open air garden and honey production so I can do contracts all the time.
Are sure it's the difficulty that makes Silage bales Instant? They are always instant in missions

if you want to use the warehouse to his full potential you need it at the center of your base product like sheep chicken bees with the input facing them so you can push the pallet in and set product to distribute.
Exemple: push wool in the warehouse set to distribute to the spinnery then to the tailor and back to the warehouse set to distribute. When prices are high set the warehouse to store then load your pallets and finally sell.
Yeah, this also fooled me for a bit when I installed it.
Basically to keep the items inside select all to Disable - it will still pull pallets into it. Or if set to Distribute to send it to your production lines. When you want it to drop outside. - select storing, and it will put them outside for you to pick up.
Also I think cause you / tractor are way too close to the are you want to terraform. Also a ramp would have been nicer for what you wanted to do at the Pallet Warehouse. Select the top/high point, then click hold on low area and run it sideways up towards the top.
I kind of wish the game had an irrigation system, such as water pivots placed in the fields. Dont know why but i think it would be cool.
yes, proper farming simulation would be kinda cool
Same goes for slurry. Get the pipe system from your slurry system and run pipes to your fields.
Diesel you should always do a hard save before you landscape or place buildings that way if the land goes wonky or if you need to move the building you can just reload the old save learned that the hard way in 2019
You have savegame backup folders in your game folder... In that you can find 5 backups from previous saves... ;)

Totally agree on the landscaping tool. Burns money but hardly does any modification. Could be a lot better
i think storing makes it poop it out, i think selling sends it to the pizzeria and distributing sends it to production chains
Use the smooth feature and it will soften the area. Gradual rise and fall instead of rapid from raising and lowering.
I think its more a fault of the system being worded weird. If you set everything on ur productions page including the warehouse to distributing it should send them to your warehouse and not spawn pallets. Also it should send any product that needs further refinement around. Then whatever product you want to spawn change it to storing in the warehouse to spawn pallets. Any pallet spawned already or no distribution options will need to be manually put in. That is if the mod works correctly lol Hope this helps
I would guess it's set up to act as another production place - so if you set your oil production to Distribute, it might send all the oil directly to your warehouse instead of popping them out as pallets at the oil place? Which would mean if you set all your productions to Distribute you could pick everything up directly at the warehouse instead of going to each production place in turn.

imagine the amount of lag if you had 150 or so pallets setting out in front of your warehouse

how are you manipulating the egg pallets? I get to click and drag them in whatever orientation they are using the mouse but how do you spin and level them? What buttons do that or is that a mod? New to farm sim. Just started a few days ago with FS22.
If you set it to distribute then it won't spawn anything out front until you set it to store. However if your grain mill is set to distribute then it will send some of the flour to the warehouse as well even if the warehouse is also set to distribute essentially creating a buffer of sorts. It's really great for end of chain products because then you can just pickup everything at one spot. I put my honey pallet spawn point inside the input zone so I don't have to worry about doing any logistics for honey. I have no idea what the activate does though. Edit: Also I have had better luck smoothing out the terrain with the round rather than the square brush, but it does still kinda suck sometimes.
hi just for info on your production and warhouse if you want to store an end product set it to distribute it will keep the pallet inside if you want a speciffic product you set it to store and it will expell the wanted pallets to win some time place your bees output on the input of the warehouse it will store them automatically for you

From what others are saying, maybe set your production facilities to distribute then go to warehouse. Then when you want something out of the warehouse, set what you want to storing and it appears up front. I guess thats how it all works and the only thing that makes any sense to me.

Man my 10900k 2080 super laptop really struggles after 250 potato pallets. Made a mistake running multiple ventures at once and ran out of money to build storage for potatoes. So was like okay I'll turn it into pallets. So So so many issues. Makes it unrealistic as in real life some manufacturing plants do not have lifts to pick up a trailer to roll potatoes back or have any system. Those plants generally don't do just potato products. They may have other lines or they may mix potatoes with different products. Or they buy in bulk on pallets to make it easier to take it to their warehouse to bag and slap their brand on the bags. There are many reasons. I know this because I've hauled it in a variety of ways in a reefer van 53 foot trailer. Some places throw it in and unload it on a lift. Some places put it in giant totes. A few places leaves as bagged qnd goes direct to store. It depends. Was hoping it be easier to run a trucking distributor with pallets but too many pallets in one spot while playing solo it's a real struggle. So now I have to change how I want to play. And I started a new game with a mod I downloaded immediately which was a multifruit silo. Because leasing trailers feels like it's more expensive in this year than previous years which was got me to start palletizing the potatoes instead of leaving them in leased trailers. But I don't know as I don't see the daily lease price. Not sure if I'm blind
I do use that warehouse. I agree its not the perfekt solution but if you set all of the products in the warehouse to distributing it wont spawn any pallets. One weird thing I noticed is that it generates a lot of positiv maintanance cost
Your farmer is standing too close to the area you are landscaping. That's why it gets tough to smooth out.
I cant6 find the mod that has that pallet warehouse. XBX console. Help?
If you set it to distributing it will store it in the warehouse and when you want to get the product out change it to storing and it will appear out the front

I find it best to use the slope tool instead of the level tool you can right click on an set height and then it actualy levels everything to that

I am new to Farm Simulator and started 22 just days ago. I see your bees so close together, but have seen videos outlining you get crop bonuses for bees positioned around to help crops. IS there a reason besides access that you put them so close together?

Setting the warehouse to distribute the product will actually store the pallet inside setting it to store actually puts it out for you to sell
Maybe you need to level out the place, before placing down the wearhouse?
22:28. You are standing too close. I find that the farther away from the area I stand the better the landscaping tool works.

@@chrisiverson257 What about if you have production line. For example you have restaurant and you are making tomatoes, lettuce and strawberries. If you set distribution in your greenhouse or garden then it will distribute these to restaurant and not to warehouse isn't it?

So the pizzaria is a literal sell point? I built a Bakery and it says its a sell point but I have no idea where to sell at. Help?
Pizzeria is just a sell point. Bakery only accepts produce it “needs” or can max hold. So if you have 50,000 eggs but the bakery only needs 3,000…it’ll only accept the 3,000.
But once you own the bakery, I don't think you can sell flour there. I think you have to make bread and sell that. Not 100% sure.
Ah ok. So if I get a pizzaria I can then sell some items on my farm correct?
Bakery is a Production Chain. You can take the bread and/or cakes from the bakery and go to your selling points, they’re listed under the prices menu. You cannot sell ingredients (flour, milk, eggs, etc) from the bakery. Also, the bakery can only handle limited input items at a time.

If you dont want the pallets to spawn when you put them in the warehouse then set it to the distributing mode then it will stay in the warehouse but when you want it set It to storing so it makes them spawn

Set all your stuff to distributing and it will go to the pallet warehouse. It takes it a minute to get there
On the autoload trailer, I have found that if you detach then rehook onto trailer, that the autoload system resumes working.

I found with these auto loaders that if you disconnect from the trailer then reconnect to the trailer, you can auto load again when it stops showing autoload pallets.

For now. The pallet warehouses are dumb espeically this one you're using, Hopefully within the next 6 months, they will be better one. that you can stored pallets in the warehouse that doesn't come out until your ready for them and you can choose what you want out of the warehouse.
All these pallets warehouse mods are crap. Closest to good solution is central warehouse which is silo like. You drop your pallets and it takes them as bulk product. Unfortunately pick up area is in a pit and you can only pick up pallets with special trailer which comes for this mod. And this trailer is tiny. You will get them packed as crates and upon loading you can select which one you want to load. But you still have to gather your pallets and drop them in unloading area .
I agree we should be able to select to automatically store all pallets in warehouse and pick them from there.
Sell the new building that is garbage and use that money to buy a new harvester like you have talked about for the last two weeks now lol
Honestly I would demolish the building and going a different route. Like I've said before, make the front a chicken farm.
