Love this! I have witnessed people yelling at the decoy. I have SO much appreciation for trainer and trial decoys. Anyone who is willing to get hit over and over to help my dog?? Appreciate your decoy/helpers!! Without them, we are fucked
Great video!!! Lots of good information! Saw you’re going to Silver School. I’ll be there as well! Hope I can pick your brain a little there! New to PSA so I appreciate all your videos!
@@dogtrainingismypassion Backyard Bitework right now, but eager to learn. I’ve trained Obedience, Protection, and tracking, however I want to learn the decoy language.
Its a really helpful video sir, thanks of sharing it. I have a question sir. Sir if I am preparing my dog for PSA , should I train the dog only for sport or I can train the dog in rough terrain and for PPD? Like for PSA there is a different kind of training and for personal protection it's different. So if I try to do both at the same time, will it hamper the dogs performance ? Or should I only choose one of those category for training?
If you know what you’re doing, you can do both. Dogs can differentiate and discriminate scenarios. Of course, depending on how deep down the rabbit hole you go in one, might sacrifice a little on the other.
Love this info. I am fascinated with PSA and bite sports, I wish I lived in an area with greater access to clubs & decoys. Thanks for sharing.

Fantastic thanks

Good video!
Thank you 🙏
This is why I like french ring and mondio ring more. The dog is allowed to bite anywhere and everywhere.
In PSA, because the decoy sprints towards the dog, predictability is the safest option. But yeah, FR is a cool sport too.
There are zero decoys in my area!
I would like to learn how.
What discipline or sport do you practice?

@aaronpotter2000 yeah, best way to do it is with someone else who can help you in person.
How's the money
What do you mean?
