Grandfather Nurgle is pleased when one such as the Golden Son falls to his corruption. Bear witness to this abomination as we delve into the mutation that will splay open Roboute and twist him into the Daemon Prince of Nurgle

This is such a good idea. I’ve been trying to work out how to do a customised daemon Prince. I hope you don’t mind but I may use this as a base to start with.
The vanilla daemon prince is such a boring design. It's great to spice things up with a custom model, glad you found my video helpful

Even though I'm quite late to the hobby I often think back to before I played. No meta chasing, no obsessing over model releases. Just 1 box and a load of imagination.

One thing id suggest to improve is a pin vice/hand drill so you can start to pin small parts with wire/paper clip it would make your models alot sturdier

Yes, I need to remember to pin my models. For some reason I keep forgetting that pinning is a thing. I had problems with the Blightspawn in my other vid that would have been easily resolved with some quick pinning.
Guess I get caught up in the conversion and it keeps slipping my mind lol

You definitely should. This is my third Prince and it is always fun coming up with new grotesque ideas for a kitbash.

@@VividMiniMods A glistening yellow tear of joy from the plague god sounds a deadly deadly thing indeed ^^ it definately should be an encased relic like the ark of the covenant in Indiana Jones 😂 or something like an ornate yet decrepid glowing vial/urn or possibly a pestulant looking pearl ^^ im sure youd do such a relic justice 👍🍻
This looks SO much better than the official Daemon Prince of Nurgle. I need to get some Plague Drones now... Maybe turn the bland Daemon Prince I ordered over a year ago into a more fitting model for my Death Guard. This dude looks positively nasty. Love it.

In your opinion, what would a Perturabo look like as a daemon price? I mean, he's undivided and also industrial AF, i've yet to see a conversion that looks like anything.
Interesting question. I must say that I have little knowledge of Space Marines, chaos or otherwise. But I think if you took a helbrute and dialled it up to 11 it might get close to what Perturabo would look like.
Maybe it could start as the Ghazghkull model and smash in bits from the Lord Discordant and helbrute.
And then resize it with bits either from Orks or CSM to make him larger than life.
I might give this a go, what kits did those other bits come from. Obviously guiliman and plague drones
Apart from the bell from the Noxious Blightbringer, everything else is greenstuff. With some UHU glue for the blood

No, forgot bout them. They are from the chaos lord kit with some horns glued on. Think the horns are from the blightbringer too

Normally I wouldn't use recast. I prefer working with plastic anyway. But I had it laying there just asking for a conversion lol
You have mad skills, but the breathing noise is off putting and the video sooooooo long. I just skipped through it. Kitbosh does an amazing job keeping his videos around 5min, I am sure you can reach his level of following, since you do not lack in kitbashing skills.
Still, the fact that only my left heard that intro and that the intro is offputting ... I just am not an ASMR enjoyer..

I love Kitbosh and Pete the Wargamer and aspire to be at their level...but I've got a bit of learning and experimenting to do yet 😁
The video length is good as it is.
The audio only being in your left ear is odd, I'll give you that.
The audio as a whole is still very atmospheric tho, I personally love the atmosphere he creates in his videos.
This in my opinion elevates Vivids videos in quality a bit over Kitboshs, but that's subjective.
All said and done, he's not Kitbosh and that's good, it would be boring, if everyone would follow the same style.
