Very nice setup my man. Glad to see somebody that actually has a brain in their head. Somebody that doesn't have to have the most expensive tools to actually work.
NICE! You are set... I have a short story.... I was a on off tech and then got a shop at 35 years old.. I only had a GM Goodwrench like 350 piece set and I was worried, BUT I made tools, ran to the harbor, lucked out at autozone but I did it.... I fixed cars no shop could... SO, my moral of this is that you are there and I want to see you in 10 years with that same box in your new shop, I promise you theres only 1 way.... HARD WORK!...
You've got a nice setup for the home, glad you don't feel the need to buy the "Best" products. Only thing I could suggest is maybe the Vessel JIS screwdrivers. I just used the #3 JIS philips on a WR426F and what a great fit with no hint of slipping under heavy load. Wish I had these back in the mid 80's when I started wrenching on my Suzukis. Not sure if they even still use philips on newer vehicles but if they do....
Nice box. I been wanting that box. It's worth it for what i do. Diy weekend warrior. I could put all my tools in one box instead of 3 small tool chests. The drawers in my tool chest aint big enough for some of my longer wrenches and prybars.
I know you said you hate the icon rachet but I promise you there just as good as the snap on one's all you have to do is get the super lube grease and put that on the gear wheel and they will be butter and alot more quiet
There's going to be a 40% for the icon ratchet this upcoming August. I didn't see you had triple square and 6 points as well. Sockets I do cheap out on haven't had a problem with it, and I abuse them with my impact stubby 3/8.
Sounds like you quickly noticed and admitted the Quality difference in the Snap-on Ratchet vs the HF-Icon Junk….the is even more quality in specialty tools built by Snap-on vs HF-Icon. My motto is to find the best tool for a reasonable price and invest once, such as my favorite (Carlyle from NAPA) which is competitive priced with NO hassle Lifetime Warranty. NAPA has stores all across the country and they offer great service.
Can I ask why you don't like the icon ratchets? I have a ton and like them more than any ratchet I've ever used. I've never used a snap on one so maybe thats what I'm missing out on.

@@larrydudgeon2846 thanks my man!
@@codycarlson9441 I buy budget friendly tools myself and I work on cars all the time. Building a US General tool box, Frankenbox

Definitely perfect set up for a at home diy guy. Could use a cordless ratchet tho. One of my favorite tools.

Buddy buy a decent torque wrench and always torque to spec. Thank me later. Good video

I’ve been pretty happy with my HFT stuff.
Nice box/ setup !
That blue always looks so amazing in pics and video
Yeah honestly it looks so different then the stock photos on their website
The tool creeper is a great idea. Never saw those before.
I bought the Icon semi deeps recently for a similar reason. Really liking them
Nice box and set up.

If you like Snap On ratchets, try a Koken. The backdrag is incredible. Not cheap but worth every penny in my opinion.
@@Ninersfanatic79 I’ll check it out. Thank you!
The color is fire 🔥

I have a Astro ai mk4 multi meter with backlight button from Amazon $45 bought that and a 18-25 pc electrical testing set
Cool setup 👍🏼 keep it going thanks for sharing
I love the blue
Get some decent impacts, and you will start to use them more.
Lol looks like you have more rachets than sockets
Look into tekton man better quality and cheap price
looks like u never used ur tools bro
@@vplacio hahaha yeah they are too shiny for my liking too. Lots of them are newer so need to put them to work
All that money spent on Icon snap ring pliers, picks, extensions, and you cheap out on cheap torque wrenches😅. Just admit you're a HF fan boy, lol.
@@marioj3766 hahahahaha😂 I do agree
I want to try the icon torque wrench. Ready to retire my tekton one!
But has a snap on ratchet, so now icon ratchets aren’t cool enough. Lol
I've found out that the quick release on my ratchets is a must. I reach for them more consistently than my non quick release ratchets.
Why do people judge? Why do you have to be a fan boy of HF if you have a bunch of tools from there. Nothing but a POS. 🤦
