Wow, excellent content. What you shared is very valuable information. I was honored to learn for you in person, thanks. Excellent ending on the rocks, ha ha!
Well, Mike, the Tampa trip was fun, the fishing was....well, better than being at work anyway..lol. I did learn a few things, 1 being frozen blue crab from the bait shop dont seem to catch much. All we caught bank fishing was a pile of catfish on frozen and live shrimp. The guide trip we went on only turned up 3 small snook, and a ray.....oh well, we'll get 'em next time.👍
Informative video Mike. I've never used whole crab before. I suppose doing it that way it eliminates any kind of trash fish inhaling the bait. Odds are when you hook up its a big bull red.
Nothing wrong with a good shark fight. Shark is great eating. Very underrated just like baracuda. Both are delicious on the grill. Every bit as good as mahi or even cobia. When I had my restaurant years ago we served shark all the time.
@@JETTIEROCKSFISHINGwithMIKED can't beat fried fish. I had fried black drum mangrove and sheepshead tonight. People don't realize that when you catch it riggt out of the ocean and eat it that it's good no matter what it is.
I live in the area and don’t know squat ;). Having fun learning! It’s great to have someone local that knows their stuff and is willing to share. Thanks!
Mike, there is no question you know where the fish are and how to catch them. You and JC have really put together a great series for this collaboration. Hoping to one day get up there and boat one myself. Bent Rods and Tight Lines!
Thanks, Mike. If I do get up that way, I will HAVE to meet up with Lane considering all the conversations we've had both on YT and privately. One of these days....
In texas on the end of sept 29 we hooked up to at least four or five bullreds on blue crabs wow even a 42inch on crab claw like you said its a great bait and it wasnt a numbers game. But we had a blast i love fishing for bulls
Great vid man...the way them reds were fighting, thought you were in much deeper water ... can't wait to see your next one, and how you go abour getting your bait...enjoy seeing your daughter's helping you out crabing.
Thank you for sharing I caught a small one with a small piece of shrimp but I always thought about going to get live crabs and trying that thank you for the info great video
Another great video Mike! That's thre kind of information that really helps a new guy out. Are you catching your own crabs (when the trap thieves aren't stealing them) or picking them up locally?
@@JETTIEROCKSFISHINGwithMIKED I’ll definitely be out there! Also I know I saw you in one video fish the local pier. I think it’ll be cool if you had a playlist of videos with you fishing from land.
@@JETTIEROCKSFISHINGwithMIKED Just saw the playlist. Just so you know there’s two videos in the playlist that are private. Can’t wait to check out the others
If you still can't catch a redfish after watching this video, just give up fishing. Mike, I would like to see a video with details about your boat, motor, and trim tabs. :)

Lol I caught my pb red on a Penn pursuit ll 8000
You need a gimble on a belt for your rod butt, then hold the rod at the top of the cushion. That being said, I've never caught a red that big.🤣
Nice video and thanks for you information
What if your fishing from the shore
