Another good one Robert. Your making these awful Iowa winters bearable

Good to hear. I am afraid there is a bit more winter still to contend with, fortunately I have a few more videos in the queue to help!

No matter where you live, riding a bike is better than a car

And there are great bike roads everywhere, we just have to go out and find them!

Robert Merz on my day off, I like to get out and just ride the back roads. When I fill up, I turn the GPS on and head back home.

The road less travelled is almost always more interesting!
My wife and I have spent a lot of time just checking out roads just to see where they go.

I was stationed in Mt. Home ID back in the 90s. Loved riding the west half of the USA

You had some beautiful rides right in your back yard, Snake River, Craters, the Sawtooths, that's a pretty nice place to be!

Robert Merz I did and didn’t realize it. I had a Honda Shadow and a Suzuki and traveled all over the place. On my GS1000 a friend and i was headed to Vegas and got clocked maintaining 110 mph. Cop let us go. I enjoyed the West

I haven't been in the east so I can't compare it personally, but from what I hear the east is generally much busier traffic wise. I also expect that there isn't the open country with big vistas that we have in so much of the west.

Robert Merz traffic can be thicker. A lot more big trees. There are good roads we have the tail of the dragon. But I like the west better

The other thing about here. Summer time, high 90s with 90%+ humidity. Bugs are bad. I know it gets hotter there but usually cool morning and evenings. Her hot and muggy
