This video got you my subscription. The way you presented the different ways the senko moves is perfect for someone who is just learning. Thanks for a great upload!
My wife likes to fish a Senko. I taught her to how to work it and now she schools me with it. She caught a 10.27 @ 25.5" long on Lake Chickamauga last fall while I was fishing a frog in the grass. Good video brother. Thank you.
Very helpful video. Love the underwater cam, gives you a much better understanding of what you're doing to the bait with every twitch of the rod. Dig your channel. I am brand new to the fishing game, and your channel is incredibly helpful.
This has been the best video yet for me. I have never fished for bass yet but am fixing to start. All my fishing has been salt water bottom fishing double leader with heavy sinker.
Rob, I used to raise tropical aquarium fish, many of whom were related to the North American bait fish like crappie and blue gill... When a fish was in its death throws in my aquarium, it moved a lot like that Mojo Rigged Senko, so no wonder it is so effective, your Senko is mimicing a free meal to a predator!!! Thanx for sharing!
Thank you for the video! I have never been a plastics guy but me and my 8 yr old son went out tonight and only used senkos. we pitched weightless the whole time it was phenomenal! We had our best evening of fishing we have probably ever had didn't catch monsters but it was consistent! Thanks again and keep up the good work!
Love that Mojo rig, I got laugh at when I used to split shot a Senko. Sometimes split shotin" a Senko was money. I haven't done that for years now, must have just forgotten about it. I will definitely give that Mojo rig a run. Great vid, thanks.
Love watching the under water videos I learn so much new stuff every time I watch them! One of my new favorite TH-camrs I actually found you on Instagram keep up the good work man!
Awesome video, great explanation of senko fishing. I noticed you use a left handed reel. I've been doing that for years despite people giving me a hard time about it. Never saw the point in casting a switching hands. Cast with the right, crank with the left. Most efficient way for a right hander to run a baitcasting setup. keep up the good work!
Sweet vid! Believe it or not I've never caught a fish on a senko and have used me for about two years now, maybe I wasn't working them right, but now I will.
I really like these underwater vids they show what you're describing which is good for me cause I'm a visual learner. Maybe in new vids the camera could show what your arm and rod look like as you're doing the technic. Keep up the great work it's really helping.
Awesome vid! Been trying to fish with senkos more often cause I don't use them enough and this just gave me some good ideas can't wait to try the mojo rig out!
This bait is literally all I use. I have a "Worm binder" stuffed with them and besides extra hooks it's all I bring with me when bass fishing. It. Is. Awesome.
Im kinda new to bass fishing and to be honest with you I really enjoy it now that I have some understanding on how to fish for them! I like using the wacky worm rig around my area. Without a doubt its one of the most effective rigs to use for bass fishing. I like using either the Yum Dinger or the Yamamoto 6" senko however, I like to use a 4/0 wide gap finesse hook . I have a lot better hook ups with this setup.
So today I fished a hidden pond I've never seen anyone at. Been going to it since I was 5 or so when my dad took me. Took a good friend today. He cought 12 on a Senko only and I got 7 with a 4" Lizard and roughly 7 or 8 Crappie. We used out favorite baits and I couldn't complain today. We float tubes the thing twice from 8-3.
I mosty use it weightless texas rig with a nail weight in the tail between the hook and end it gives it the same acton but stops head up and falls backwards into their face when they follow. Great Vid
Fantastic bro ... all I use is Senkos and jerk baits. Im a bank fishing guy unfortunately lol but they work. Im about to hit a spot in Irving and try this mojo rig! Stoked. Wacky and weightless have been my goto for years! Great video bro ... new fan for sure! Tight lines dude! later.
Awesome vid! Could you use a split weight for the mojo rig. I actually had some wacky rig hooks and I never knew that that was what you use them for. Thanks for the tips! So happy I found your channel. You're awesome man!!
There is also a senko with a "rage tail" made by strike king. It is amazing to throw weightless like the first rig you threw. same slow fall and action, but it jas a little tail that kicks. Give them a try, they are awesome.
I like to push the hook all the way through the senko, and then bury the tip of the hook in the pastic. It will look more straight and more natural, and also increase the wobble as it falls.
This bait is what makes me think that for bass it's more about action and certain movements moreso than paint patterns or visual 'accuracy'. The Senko looks like a pen, but with the Yamamoto in particular, it ungulates like a dying baitfish which triggers that feeding instinct specifically...even though it doesn't have fins or gills or eyes, etc..
I'm new to this and just wondering, isn't the mojo rig just a weighted Texas rig? And isn't the first one a weightless Texas rig? Or am I way off here lol?
Hey man your video is what made me get my first pack of senkos. They are freaking awesome. Any recommendations on what kind of hook and size to use on a wacky rig?
Nice video, u know there's this tool and it fits these little rubber bands around a certain midsection of the senko and u hook it instead of the actual senko and it saves your senko from tearing up as easily when hit by a bass I don't know what it is called but I heard it's awesome
I really wish I had more confidence in Senko's... I always have a million things running through my mind when trying to fish'em. "Am I working it to fast?" "Am I working it too slow?" "Was that a bite? or just a stick?" "Am I on the bottom yet?" hah Nice vid though!
The Senko is such a stud.
You live in Texas right
yep
+LunkersTV did you find fork a little hard to fish
+caden kea this winter
+caden kea Have not fished it in a week or so..
This video got you my subscription. The way you presented the different ways the senko moves is perfect for someone who is just learning. Thanks for a great upload!
Thanks for the support
LunkersTV 3ot 5ot is too big
it was great to see how the bait reacts to the twitching styles but I would also like to see how you're doing it with the rod.
My wife likes to fish a Senko. I taught her to how to work it and now she schools me with it. She caught a 10.27 @ 25.5" long on Lake Chickamauga last fall while I was fishing a frog in the grass. Good video brother. Thank you.
Definitely by far one of the best on TH-cam. Excited about the boat tour video and here's an idea for a under water video, jigs an how to work jigs.
Very helpful video. Love the underwater cam, gives you a much better understanding of what you're doing to the bait with every twitch of the rod. Dig your channel. I am brand new to the fishing game, and your channel is incredibly helpful.

I'm sold on the senkos and the techniques that you showed. My first time using them I slayed the bass. What a fun morning fishing. Keep it up Rob.
If this is such a good setup, than why didn't he catch anything?

You convinced me to start fishing senkos, and I can't say how much I appreciate it man.
+Robs Shop Thats great to hear man!!!
Love your videos man. Keep up the fantastic work. I can't get enough of your videos.
While I only fish for perch and pike, I get a huge amount of information from this gent, really good at the explanation of things.
Love that Mojo rig, I got laugh at when I used to split shot a Senko. Sometimes split shotin" a Senko was money. I haven't done that for years now, must have just forgotten about it. I will definitely give that Mojo rig a run. Great vid, thanks.

Sweet vid! Believe it or not I've never caught a fish on a senko and have used me for about two years now, maybe I wasn't working them right, but now I will.
I have needed this video for while. Awesome!!

Great video man. I love the Mojo setup Im going to combined that with another trick in the BFL this weekend. Can't wait.
I really like these underwater vids they show what you're describing which is good for me cause I'm a visual learner. Maybe in new vids the camera could show what your arm and rod look like as you're doing the technic. Keep up the great work it's really helping.
Love the underwater action! Keep it up!
Thanks for introducing me to this amazing bait! Ever since I started using it it's changed my fishing game up a whole lot! In a good way!
Every good fisherman knows that Gary's are the go to.

a senko is the greatest bait of all time hands down
either a senko or rat-l-trap. 2 totally different lures, but the best 2 ever made tbh
crome blue back rat l traps

The mojo is so effective. I love it. Man this video was awesome. Thank you. Ronnie. Texas.
+RDM1978 Of course and thanks for watching
+LunkersTV for the mojo rig can you use some sort of fluke or how about a ribbon tail worm?
Used your tips for the wacky rigged senko and caught 6 bass thanks a lot !!!
Wish I had watched this video last night. Appreciate the advice and knowledge put out. Tried a senko for first time today, definitely wasn't correct.
That dog barking got my dog barking... thanks XD good video
That dog is making my dog start to growl lol.

I like this video. Good information. I usually dead stick a sinko but I am going to add the mojo to my bag of tricks.
Sweet video! Thanks for the tips!!

Tried the mojo for the first time today and first cast a bass nailed it. Very effective
I mosty use it weightless texas rig with a nail weight in the tail between the hook and end it gives it the same acton but stops head up and falls backwards into their face when they follow. Great Vid

Great video, learned a ton, keep it up man!!
nice video, thanks. i always looked down on senkos(irrational but true) but that looked great underwater.
PLEASE do an underwater texas rig video with a couple retrieves. these vids are awesome man! big fan
weighted and unweighted and pegged vs unoegged would be cool too
My go too bait!
Awesome vid! Could you use a split weight for the mojo rig. I actually had some wacky rig hooks and I never knew that that was what you use them for. Thanks for the tips! So happy I found your channel. You're awesome man!!

Senkos is probably one of the lure that I use the most and caught the most fish on.
Can you do a video like this of craws, brush hogs and big curl tail worms 8-10 inch ????
Great video I love to fish Senkos I'll have to try to mojo rig. Keep doing what you are doing.
Great vid. I like the screen in screen commentary. Reminds me of a COD vid LOL
You have finally got me to use a senko.....I've never really had the confidence in it but I just caught 6 bass in 15 minutes lol.
+Hunter Smith Senkos for life
totally awesome video
I like to push the hook all the way through the senko, and then bury the tip of the hook in the pastic. It will look more straight and more natural, and also increase the wobble as it falls.
I use it Texas rigged with a 8th or a 16th Oz pegged sinker to git it down a little faster. worked the same way. works in southeastern Oklahoma.
Very informative video. Thank you.
Bought the Senko yesterday and fished it today and the fish crushed it. Definitely going to be one I keep in my back pocket for slow days.
Excellent Work!
Awesome vid! Love the explanation.

I'm new to this and just wondering, isn't the mojo rig just a weighted Texas rig? And isn't the first one a weightless Texas rig? Or am I way off here lol?
You are right all of this stuff is just confusing!
A senko has a very different tail.
A senko doesn't have a tail at all, it's a stick bait.
thanks! really helpful.
Has soon as I used your tips i started catch 10 times has many fish ! Thank u
Great video man. Thanks
Great tips man!!
+HK Outdoors glad I could help you

Love the intro
