Building A Starter Boat! - Stormworks Career Mode - Part 1

- Its time to start a new career mode in Stormworks 1.0! Since we can no longer continue with our rogue mode series, I thought we would go ahead and start a fresh.
So, here it is, lets build ourselves a starter boat. You can follow along at hone if you wish. Or just create your own, I'd love to see what you build on my discord (linked below). As always, I hope you guys enjoy the video!

I think it would be handy to be able to get inside your boat for when the engine is on fire or damaged

By default, the game is set to spawn boats filled with fuel. You can edit the scene file for your save to set that to "false" so that you don't get free fuel every time you spawn a vehicle. Many of the other settings in there can be changed to pretty much get a version of Rogue mode back. It's a pain, but it's what I've been doing.

Im glad I decided to build ny first ship because of career, now I can build anything (My first build was like 3 days ago lol) except anything from Lua and micro controllers for now
Start with micro controllers, they’re really not that hard.

Loved the video @Frantic! Try playing around with the clutch options to get some more speed out of the boat, and try to reduce the number of weight blocks on it as well as putting them in the bottom of the hull! I can't wait to see how far this will go though, keep it up man!

Frantic. make sure to get a under water welder too. you have a welder that cant do underwater. your welder can only do blocks that arent in water. the other welder can only do parts in water

Hey Frantic, nice to see the return of career mode, even though it isn't rogue mode. Still, I have a question for you. Are you SURE that you aren't putting the gearboxes the wrong way around? because one input is labeled "Power A", and the other "Power B". Now, I might be wrong, but I'm *PRETTY* sure that B comes after A, meaning that the Gearboxes might accidentally be reversed (it'd sure explain why some of your boats went *faster in reverse* ). Just a thought. Anyhow, keep up the good work!!
what's the difference between rogue mode and career mode??
Rogue mode is the hardest difficulty, no respawning or teleporting etc. Rogue mode was taken out in update 1.0 though

officially the red and geen lights must not be visible from the back of the boat and the white light must be visible from all sides
Well it’s stormworks lol it’s not irl and in IrL you can’t see both lights while facing left or right only the respective light on the side.

ofcourse I know its stormworks (I have that game) and what you talking is bullcrap cuz what I just said is that, in irl the red and green lights MUST NOT VINCIBLE FROM THE REAR and the white light must be vincible from all sides and be higher than the red and green lights.
reminder that those lights allow other people to see where you are going, they have to placed on the correct side. but since i have an awesome memory, i forgor 💀

So I just downloaded the game, and have started a new classic career mode, but for some reason I don't have the gear box I need, any help would be appreciated

What the difference between rogue mode and carrer mode?
Also why can you put electricity to equipment?
Rogue mode is harder.
To charge up equipment.
Charging up storage allows you to refill or charge equipment placed on them, it is described in the equipment description that if it is refillable or not
If you do end up using a modular engine on that boat make a v8

PLEASE HELP - at 21:30 your boat makes a starter noise. MY BOAT DOAT THIS CONSTANTLY. It won't shut off. I have my starter set to the same button as you, 1 to hold... But it constantly makes the nosie!
