For this build, we went to our old reliable: a big-bore kit on a Honda CRF250R makes it way more fun to ride, and adding Twisted Development to the mix can make it even better. Also, the Vortex ignition (mapped by Jamie at Twisted) allows the bike to rev with the big-bore. A big-bore alone in most 250Fs can add 2 to 4 horsepower, and Twisted’s mods and mapping can boost that to 7 or even 9, so it’s quite significant when ripping it around the track.

@@dirtniron Ya! It was my first bike so I'll probably always keep it. You really need to find the right terrain for it, but when it's in the right element, it really shines. I will probably upgrade it to the 270 soon, sounds like it helps it quite a bit. It's awesome that you're giving Honda some love!!
before you do that try vortex from Twisted, its plug and play and gives pretty good gains. later they can load the map for 270cc for you, or perhaps you can run the same upgraded map that you will have for 250cc. Give them a call maybe. good luck man!

You’re absolutely right about watching video if you can the way you were. That bike sounds so freaking good too. It def doesn’t sound like a 250. I would love a bike like that but I wouldn’t give up my sxf350 for anything.

Idk why but it gives me anxiety not hearing that thing banging the limiter off the jumps. Maybe I'm just used to hearing my stock bike and having to be wtfo off of jumps to clear.

Man I really like your builds I have a question do you do customer bikes or do you take suggestions on bikes to build I have a 2004 RMZ 250 in great condition I've been wanting to restore didn't know if you would want it for a project bike a lot of people hated it cuz it and a lot of people loved it was the first one for Suzuki and Kawasaki as they teamed up on the bike Suzuki did the motor Kawasaki did the chassis I would love to see my bike built by a professional and just to see what you think about the first shot at a Motocross 4-stroke for Kawasaki and Suzuki

Looks like to me that if you stay off the clutch it will help. Seems like you pull it in every corner which isn't the best technique.
