I modded mine with Sanwa buttons which feel much nicer than the stock buttons. I also put them in a line instead of a diamond. Makes it much more authentic IMO.
Did you notice that for the first time all year, Stone Age Gamer got some stock of the Neo Geo Pocket Game Drive flash carts to sell? I don't even have a NGPC yet(I ordered the Pocket adapters), but if you're interested, just get one, I can't see these being in stock all year, I waited a long time for a chance to buy one.
I sorta wanted one of these when they were on clearance on Woot, but it was hard to justify buying more plastic to store since I have them all playing perfectly on my PC, as well as a good collection on my Switch. Believe the regular one was about $90 or so.
Not bad, but I wish SNK would just make a neo geo mini like what sega & nintendo did with the SNES & genesis. Cant forget the proper four button arcade sticks!
If it's in MVS mode: what about the language option? Most Neo Geo games before 1996 does not have the option in the AES version. Does this joystick allows you to switch the game into English?
IMO, the MVSX made the arcade stick obsolete the same way the stick made the mini obsolete. There's 10 more games and you get pretty much the arcade machine experience (plus there's 2 joysticks for 2 players). I love mine 🥰

The instructions are very vague about how to do so and I’ve never had consistent luck doing it myself; it has worked on a couple of occasions, but not consistently and I’m not sure why Also, were there any new hacks you would recommend? I followed your videos for the old ones when I bought my pair a couple years ago, but there’s a few bugs on my HILO hack one such as SVC chaos is difficult to use secret characters and if you try to use random on several different games, the random select causes the game to crash so I thought there may be something out there that has these things fixed or maybe a suggestion as to how to replace the SBC chaos file with an alternate ROM I am blind so I appreciate your attention to detail when doing these videos and I apologize for treating you like you’re customer service for the company lol, I can’t believe they did that to you 🤷♂️
To be fair, an overwhelming number of Neo Geo games don't have enough text in them aside from fighting game menus and what not to need them to be translated but i'd also be curious.

I tried to play the games on a Samsung 4k '55 TV - It is not what I expected. Pixel mode is not enjoyable. You can't even identify there faces on the big screen. To much pixels. Why is it not possible to make this thing working for a big screen. Most of us got a big 4k TV. Who plugs this thing on a small pc monitor? I guess almost nobody. The only option on a big screen is smoothing mode. Pixel mode is far away from the original. Does nobody care about that or is it just my Samsung 4k TV that seems to be not working well with the neogeo arcade Stick.

I was wondering if you could put in Sanwa buttons. I put in Sanwa butttons on my AES arcade stick and it works amazingly well.
I have the 8bitdo arcade stick, I modded it with Sanwa stick and buttons, and an automatic 4 to 8 way gate changer for the stick.
Love this revisit series of Neo Geo consoles.

I finally got the standard one last year. GREAT console and solid arcade stick.
You can use those stickers for white or blank buttons and decorate yourself. That is most likely would be the way they should be used.

those weird scan lines replicating those cabs with shtty monitors. i remember as a kid those snk cabs were weird and sometimes had a bad image.
I believe the next obvious step is for them to add NEO GEO CD versions to these games as well as NGPC games.

Yeah it’s like a console but also can be used as an arcade stick for any system and modded however you want with buttons and sticks.
