The lewitt mic sounds great, but I don't think Lewitt was the first to come up with the idea. There's the Audio Technica AE2500, which was around first (2002), if I'm not mistaken. The Lewitt is a few hundred dollars more affordable though!
Excellent , I’M SOLD ! So helpful for recording ! PS. , Your kit sounds amazing ! Would love you to make a video on how you have your mics and channel strips. Great sound !
I like the sound of this Mic... But Honestly, the Mapex Black Panther Series drum elements also sound really great ! Anyway, i'm gonna buy that microphone. Thanks for the video
Many thanks for the cool review, Cameron! We've enjoyed it a lot!
Great! Thank you for everything, you're all very appreciated!
it's got that clicky metal kick drum sound. i like it a lot.
This is crazy how good this mic sounds for kick drums 🤒
The condenser really made it sound great on my cell.
Great demo, awesome drumming :D
Thank you!
sounds immense!! love the review, and will definitely be my next purchase alongside the LCT040 match condensors! :D
Dang ! Freaking fantastic drums, mics and drummer!
Audio-Technica AE2500 was released around 2003, so the idea of 2 capsules was not "invented" by Lewitt. And it's a XLR5 cable, not a MIDI one.
That's my mistake! Thanks for clearing that up.
Lol, I was going to point that out, glad I checked the comments first.
I like this concept of reviewing gear very much! Informative chit mang mang!! 🤘🏻

I've got a couple videos on the channel about the whole setup. May have to update that shortly.
have the beta 52a, RE20, Heil Pr40, and DTP 640 Rex; different mics for different strokes; 640 Rex is best overall for kick imho.
So far so good!
