Dubai, United Arab Emirates - When you think of Dubai, one of the things that comes to your mind are probably the seemingly endless desert with it's breathtaking views. Since we both have never been to the desert, this was our chance. We booked a "desert safari tour" on getyourguide. The offers are endless, and if you don't read carefully, you will be overpriced, since they all offer roughly the same thing.
The tour started great, but as soon as our guide let some air out of the tires and started the sand-dune-riding or "bashing", things got bad. See for yourself what made this experience a not so nice one to remember and why we still get sick when thinking of it. And don't skip the end, where we show you the more beautiful parts of the tour.

Hi thanks for sharing! Im going to Dubai and i would like to do a dessert safari with sand boarding and camel ride but without doing the duna bashing do know if that's possible?
Hey, as far as we now, there are also tours that don’t do the dune bashing. Just be careful while booking and ask the guide/driver again just to be sure!
