Harry, Great video; happy to see you safe and exploring Yemen. I'll share a few of my thoughts on the video, simply for some added insight. As you had mentioned (and wisely stayed away from discussing in detail with locals), Yemen is "fragmented" due to external bodies using factions/sects/demographics to engage in proxy war. The part of Yemen that you had explored is Southern Yemen, as you had covered, which is supported by the UAE & Saudi Arabia (and you had even heard of certain village natives using the Saudi currency rather than the Yemeni equivalent). Northern Yemen is different when it comes to external body support (Iran). The people in the North are suppressed by the media and people from the region of Yemen that you explored would never endorse you traveling to the North; at the very least, not for the foreseeable future. However, I believe it's important that you in some way get exposed to perspectives and lifestyles + situations of people living in the North, although the region is currently unstable & is not safe like Saudi/UAE protected regions in Southern Yemen. I commend you for traveling to a region that is frequently misrepresented in the media, and highly encourage you (with whatever means possible) to explore the full canvas as much as possible, whenever safe to do so. I certainly don't blame you for exploring the region you did/not traveling to the North. There are currently flights via Yemenia to Sana'a (which is the only external access port; Saudi will not fly to Sana'a/the North specifically and UAE does not have any officially proper route to Yemen). I'm not Yemeni (so I don't have explicit official connections there), but I can point you in the right direction if you're ever interested in further insight of the North & travel in the region. Wishing you all the best.
The only way to travel to Sana’a would be from Jordan currently as Egypt constantly closes the flights from Cairo to Sana’a. In Jordan they can also be very strict in what your business is there and so on.

Especially Southern part which has treasure you would not believe. They just don't have the right leaders with the right mind. It's that old backward mentality that has plagued the land.
@@spidyman8853 Have you ever ever just wondered, that maybe these people just want to be left alone, to live their lives, without the interferences from Western colonists. Harry is from the UK, where the UK government, provided military and bombs to the Saudi government, to actually bomb Yemen, and are still providing the Nazi illegal colonial of Israhell with weapons now, to carry out a Genocide🍉ide against Palestinians, Lebanon, Syrians and now Iran. The irony really, where one is critical of another country, who has no history of colonialism or invasion of foreign lands, forgets his country is responsible for why Yemen is in this dire state it is. It helps knowing about history, the past, before wearing rose tinted lenses and judging a country and criticising their culture and beliefs. How ignorant can one be hey.

Hadhramaut has connections with many places around the world due to the historical emigration of Hadrami traders. The thing is, there is a massive difference in culture between the north and south of Yemen. The north is the more conservative part of Yemen. For example the 50% of girls marrying under the age of 18 mostly happen in the north.
Yemen is land of old civilization and Yemen was First Arabs land. And also very mountainous country in Arabian peninsula. A diverse nation Yemen. Where two big sect of Islam exist both sunni and shias in large percentage. I hope you will enjoy Yemen beauty and it's tasty food.

O Muslims, one of the virtues of the people of Yemen is that they are among the best people on earth. Jubayr bin Mut’im, may God be pleased with him, said: We were with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, on the road to Mecca. He said: (The people of Yemen have come to you like clouds, the best of those on earth) and a man from the Ansar said: O Messenger of God, except We, then he remained silent, then he repeated it, then he remained silent, then he repeated it and said a hidden word: (Except you) [20].

Harry,
Great video; happy to see you safe and exploring Yemen.
Wishing you all the best.
thanks i would love to visit north yemen, 100% in the future!
