Very nice video! I just saw this resort on Costco's website and I have a few questions. Who did you book it through? How many of you were in the over-water bungalow? How many can fit in a water bungalow? How were the meals? Costco's trip package comes with breakfast and dinner. How's the beach area? Did you get a chance to see the garden-pool bungalows? Overall impression? I am looking for something in Moorea and this fits my budget for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens ages 18 and 17).
Hoping this helps! Who did you book it through? We booked through Costco and it was phenomenal. Highly recommend it. It felt like VIP concierge travel agent service at a fraction of the cost. You are able to call their customer service line and make adjustments to your plans very easily. It has changed my entire perspective on travel. I want to go through Costco travels for everything now! How many of you were in the over-water bungalow? There was only two of us in the over-water bungalow. How many can fit in a water bungalow? it was a size-able space, but there weren't many beds. There was just a single king size bed and a twin size sofa in the room. Did you get a chance to see the garden-pool bungalows? We did not unfortunately! Overall impression? We absolutely loved it. We would do it again. Being able to venture out and experience the island is a must for a full experience, BUT the resort was great. The breakfast buffet that came with the package was very hearty and filling. There are plenty of other ways to get food also. Everything from grocery stores to fast food to fancy restaurants were all within a 20 minute brisk walk. A walk that I would also recommend because you really get to appreciate how beautiful the island is when on foot. Being over-water is incredible. Just being able to gear up on the bungalow and start snorkeling immediately was not only convenient, but so relaxing. I am pretty sure that I spent hours one night just floating in the pitch dark, right next to our bungalow, staring up at the stars. There was also nightly entertainment that was really culturally immersive and an incredible bar.
@@mrv911 Because we went through Costco, in order to book it, we had to call their travel service. When booking the service, we we able to make sure we paid for the overwater bungalows by talking to the booking team. We didn't have to book for something else and then change it afterwards.
Hi! Was the entertainment every night or certain nights? Was it free? Did you snorkel anywhere else on the island to compare the snorkeling at the hotel?
Hello! The entertainment was different night to night, but the resort definitely tried to have different entertainment throughout the week. The entertainment was free, but it was near the bar so for us it wasn’t because we definitely invested in some drinks haha. We did snorkel outside, we signed up to swim with the sharks and stingrays through one of the vendors at the resort. We have a vlog of that experience too. I recommend it because there were fishes EVERYWHERE!!!
Thanks so much for this video. We booked this resort (and others) through Costco and will be going in May. So excited for this trip!
Great Video 👍🏿 Moorea ❤️

How was your stay at Manava? Would you recommend it?
Myke Hawk I would definitely recommend it, it was amazing! You also get a complementary buffet breakfast every morning.
Good Luck Chum thank you! I’ll be heading there in September! Very excited, especially after your amazing video.
