It is always heartwarming to see the pure enthusiasm. I wish i could downscale back to just gold pan and spade. But i got pretty sizeable operation going on here in Lapland. Good luck with the diggings. Also after my experience of 30 or so years of mining, i do suggest to look the big picture on those rivers. Where there is now "slow spot" in the river, it could be that it was not there even 10 - 20 years ago. So inspect local topographical data to identify grander scale dips and flats on the ground.
completely agree the river moves around soo much and interference i forgot to mention about bends in the rivers ect soo i think ill have to do a part 2
@@Englishprospector I understand that. Some of my worst videos have done the best lol. Just have to learn what it was that made the algorithm show some love.
Do u offen find Holly bushes where I are looking for gold. I hav found Holly bushes in all the best areas wondering if its a thing or possibly something to do with mineralisation but that's the only place in my area iv seen them.
I'm a prospector too 👍 where I used to live there's a stream 20 feet from the house and I noticed bedrock so dug down and found a deep hole which took me 8 months doing a couple of buckets a day and I moved about 3 feet of rock's and found nice gold and treasure all the way down then found the nugget and chain in my profile picture in a week. The chain is rose gold and the noog is 7.5g. I'm also in England so you never know what you will find until you do. 💚💛❤️
@Englishprospector cheers 👍 I haven't been able to get much done for a year or two but there's a place I go to about 2 miles down the road and the first pan I did there I found a picker. I can't drive now and I'm disabled so I have to rely on lifts but have a couple of buckets I got from there and do the odd pan now and then. I've even got a Keene mini Max highbanker but I've never used it away from the house yet.💚💛❤️ I'm near Hadrian's wall
@@Englishprospector I've had a rare bone condition all my life and worked a lot of it but being 50 it bothers me a lot more now so do what I can when I can. You are welcome to come here for a bit go at my spots if you want. It's closer than skirtland 😂👍💚💛❤️
@rastaralph7154 Haha skirtland I love that saying lmao it's nice being soo close and you can work it at your own leisure it's amazing that you have never let that hold you back i might take you up on that one day
Great video. Very informative. I live in South Louisiana, one of the only two states in the country that do not have natural gold in them, Florida being the other one. Would love to have a stream like that to work. Thanks for sharing my friend. 🤠🐊
What I liked about this you was genuine and honest unlike so many others just finding gold nuggets here there everywhere (fake finds) I call them since I gave up robbing banks always looking to make money 😂
Thank you thank you thank you! Now do a public gem location. I facet gems and need clear facetable gemstones! I can buy them but there’s something special about one you find and finish all the way to jewelry.
Lots off different resources and research there is a few good pages out there and books that would give you a rough ideadea then it's grab a pan and test the rivers looking for heavy
Tbh it all depends on where you are hear the gold is small but some gold flakes wouldn't make.it through a kitchen side and you would.end up loosing alot off gold
Wait if I find public rivers near footpaths can I pan there? Also can I keep the gold because the crown estate says it’s unlikely we’ll be granted permission to keep it? I need some help mate cheers 🎉
Soo the gold you find in the river and belongs to the crown estate take off that what you will either in the river or a vile it still belongs to them, our waterways in England belong to someone ,whether it be local fishing clubs council land ect
@jeggiejegmeister8720 by law us in the uk don't own the rights to the minerals in the ground they belong to the royals, but likely hood off them knocking and asking for it is next to none so take from that what you will.lol just don't dig the banks or damage the rivers as that is environmental damage and comes with hefty fines

Great stuff and don't forget scraping clay .gold just sticks to sticky clay cheers Glenno.😎👌
agreed clay acts like false bedrock some real good gold comes from a clay layer
Howdy Glenno, nice to see you here.
The guys in the UK are trying really hard. 🍻

How do you find out where the gold bearing rivers are?
Lots off different resources and research there is a few good pages out there and books that would give you a rough ideadea then it's grab a pan and test the rivers looking for heavy
@ thank you for responding but I’m none the wiser. Could you direct me to the book/ page. Thanks.
goldpublications.co.uk/ hope this helps
@ Thank you.
Yes de basics
I was told to use a kitchen sieve after using the garden one?
Tbh it all depends on where you are hear the gold is small but some gold flakes wouldn't make.it through a kitchen side and you would.end up loosing alot off gold
Great info, can't wait to use my Christmas gift lol, but where and how do I get permission to pan here in the UK.
Many thanks
It's not easy to come by but look for public footpaths arround rivers also nock on farmers doors worse they can say is no

Well thanks for the reply made thing clearer 👍 Is there any possibility where the gold can be kept?
@Sim-wy3mz tbh the likelihood off the king sending gards to the door are very slim
I would like to work with you .I have 15 years of experience.currently I am studying in UK.
You on the spliffs ther
Hey Im down in cornwall near camborne do you know if this is a viable area for gold panning?
Hi tbh I don't go cornwall that often but I would recommend looking for the gold adventurer on hear as he lives in Cornwall
@@Englishprospector ah thank you so much for reply I’ll give him a look :)
❤
I seen gold in pan at end he's to rough
Not try to move into your spot bro just wondering where bouts is this river
Are we "Under the radar" here, or do we need to write begging letters to the King and authorities to do this?

Do you need a permit?
