      Great video, love his work!!! Your passion for MOTU is so infectious, this man made masterpieces!
      And agreed 100% about the He Man head!!!!
      If you haven't seen his wonderful work, check out Barbarossa Customs! He's just got a new head for Origins He Man that I have to get ASAP!

    Massive respect for him following throw. So many people thought he was bluffing in the original video. I’d say the way they’re made here, being movable, would be better than statues. Can’t wait to see where it goes from here.

    What amazed me seeing those upscaled figures, is that immediatly I felt like this is the right scale!
    I mean, when I was a kid, less than half my actual size, the figures were BIG, but now, they are much smaller, and this big version just makes it FEEL the right scale from my memories!

    I first saw the guy on toy federation and thought he was nuts and wasn't really going to go through with his plans. A lot people say they're going to do something great and it just fizzles out with no follow through. No my friend. He has totally went above and beyond!! Kudos to him!! Thanks for sharing this display, love it!!!

    Mattel should license these guys. I would definitely buy some of their stuff. They clearly love MOTU and know what the old fans love and want. This is easy money for Mattel.

    I remember catching this on Toy Federation's channel a couple months back when he went there to first buy all the motu from them for this project. I didn't quite understand it, but these look incredible! Well done and exciting to see how he branched into all accessories and vehicles! Looking forward to seeing more!

    His opening narrative was wonderful. I live in Puerto Rico after 43 years in New Jersey, and run a not for profit that provides business education, mentoring, procurement and free desk space to Puerto Rican entrepreneurs.
    The idea is this man's story. Don't know what he does for a living, but he is an entrepreneur. Inspired by his passion, and executed a plan of action whilst constantly innovating and scaling his outcomes (quite literally).
    More of these people need to be highlighted, celebrated and allowed to continue to create the beautiful things that make life so abundant!

    • @MultiTravellingman
      @MultiTravellingman ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SecretOfMonkeyIsland784 Mattel remodeled He-man, and was different from the original design. This guy kept things original, just made the scale larger, along with doing an entire line worth of figures and an upscaled massive playset that wouldn't of been cheap. Mondo did an awesome highend more articulated version and Sideshow Collectibles have done statues in that size, but this guy is technically the first to recreate the entire og line but upscale it with a playset.

    What this guy did is truly amazing! I watched the Toy Federation video where he came to the shop and bought like all of their vintage MotU figures and explained what he want to do, but I don't think anybody expected him to really do it so seeing this display is unreal. 😃
    Now, he obviously invested A LOT of money into this, (He has FOUR artists ffs!!) but all it takes is C&D letter from Mattel and he will end up with the biggest (literally!) private MotU collection out there! He's operating from US so he would have no option but to drop everything. 😕 I don't think Mattel will have the reason to do that as his original plan was to build diorama displays for toy fairs and conventions, not to sell these, but you never know what Mattel lawyers might decide to do so I really hope he covered all his bases as I would hate seeing this project stopped as I REALLY want to see full vintage line blown out of proportions. Pun intended! 🤣

I was a little concerned he would get lawyers after him though as none of this is licensed by Mattel yet. The cost to produce these would be huge especially if hand painted etc, so to say he will do the entire line (Vehicles & Playsets as well) and then maybe She-Ra may be over promising as even Mattel cant afford that with the Origins line.

    In 1983 I was in 3rd grade and me and my classmates was arguing with our teacher about He Man vs Popeye. Lol....we said He Man would kick Popeyes butt and our teacher was saying Popeye would beat He Man. Lol....great times being a kid.
