Thanks for all the work you put into all of your projects. It can be overwhelming at times when trying to make something, and your step by step directions are so helpful. On top of that, you provide all the projects and designs free of charge. That can be extremely helpful because crafting can get a bit pricey. I think everyone that watches, appreciates all you do for us.
Thanks for the great comparison of all the different formulas! It was great to see how they compare in transparency and glossiness. Very helpful and informative!
THANK U SO MUCH!! for your beautiful tutorial! I was told to use Mod Podge to make cardboard and paper hard enough to replace wood in making small boxes. If so, which one and how to l find the one needed? WalMart, Michael's, Hobby Lobby only carry the most used.
The tear away tags are awesome. I made them last year and played a game with family members on Christmas Day. They had so much fun they are asking for us to do that again this year. Thank you Jennifer and team for sharing your creativity and all your hard work. 💜

Oh thank you soo much I just found you and I’m so glad!! I just started doing diy stuff, bought everything and sat there staring at it.. really appreciate you! I’ll keep watching💜
Thank you, Jennifer, for taking the time to explain all this. The first time I decided to try Modge-Podge I bought it at the Dollar Tree store. I got it home and tried to use it on a project. When I opened it, it was a yellowish color. I wasn't sure I should use it like that. I set it aside and bought some at Walmart. I never did return the first one. I have now been using it for about 4 years now. LOL I still have that first one and never used it. I love the precise and easy way you explain things.

thank you for this video. I have found it to be very informative. Thank you for taking the time to do such a comprehensive video. Much appreciated. Thank you.
You have been incredibly informative. Thank you. I wondered about Mod Podge. I was trying a project where you use the standard MP on paper and take a paper napkin layer one with a picture. MP the paper then add the napkin and add another layer of MP. I did get bubbles and wrinkles in the napkin layer and when the paper with the napkin on top dried, there was wrinkles. I thought I would have a smooth finish but not.

Which mod podge, and what's the best way to use it? When trying to protect finger paint like for instance, on a christmas bulb, finger paint handprint.
I have a space that is wood - damaged by water and sun (at the helm on my yacht. I want to use a map, sand and shell to cover all the wood counter to cover the damaged wood . What do you suggest
Hi! Youre amazing for doing this! I have a few questions. What is the difference between sealing and finishing? Why do you recommend doing two coats? Is that for all materials or only some? I painted 1" wooden circles with acrylic paint for a tic tac toe game and covered them with gloss mod podge to make them soft and shiny. What is curing and how long should I wait before I use them? Thank you!
The difference between sealing and finishing lies in their purposes and the stages at which they are applied in a project. Sealing is primarily done to protect the underlying material or design from external factors such as moisture, UV rays, and abrasion. It helps to lock in the paint or glitter and prevent it from flaking off or fading. Sealing is usually one of the initial steps after the paint or glitter has been applied. For example, in the context provided, a UV-resistant clear mat spray is used to seal the design on a doormat to protect it from fading and wear. Finishing is done to give the final look and feel to the project. It often involves adding a topcoat that enhances the appearance, such as adding shine or a smooth texture, and provides an additional layer of protection. Finishing is typically the last step in the process for durability. Applying two coats ensures that the protection is more robust and long-lasting. The first coat might not cover all areas uniformly, and the second coat helps to fill in any gaps and provide a more even and thorough coverage. Curing refers to the process of allowing a material to fully set and harden to achieve its final properties. In the context of the provided information, curing is specifically mentioned for the Mod Podge dishwasher safe sealer applied to mugs. After applying the sealer, you should set your mug in a clean, dry location to cure for **28 days** before using it. Although the mug will dry hard in a couple of days, it is crucial not to use the mug or expose it to water until the full 28 days have passed. This ensures that the sealer has fully set and will provide reliable protection, especially if you plan to wash the mug in a dishwasher.
