This week’s episode of The Return of Superman is titled, ‘For You, Who Always Shine’. Donggook has a special and awkward day with his father and Sian while wearing matching outfits. Sam takes a business trip to Japan and meets Sayuri to ask for babysitting as well as interviewing his idol. Meanwhile, as a farewell, Taeyoung’s family opens Ki Cafe to repay the love they have received so far.

I love that dad didn't ignore what seungjae wanted. Most parents won't agree if the child bring broken toy from the street. But he tried to find place to fix dolly instead
IRK, but at the same time that would be me. Mainly because he found the thing literally in the trash and I wouldn't want those germs everywhere.
It also shows us how quick we are to throw things away instead of trying to find a way to fix them. It's a beautiful metaphor, really. I wish there were more shops like this in the world. What a wonderful idea to open a shop that fixes toys!

The reason why Seungjae is such a precious child is because his parents are like this. They really went through the trouble of getting the doll fixed when they could’ve just easily bought him a new and cheaper one. Other parents keep telling their kid to be kind but display the exact opposite of it whereas Jiyong acts what he preaches making him the perfect role model for his son. I love this family. 💖💎💖

CrypticSprite R I agree!!! They are raising him well. It is difficult to learn empathy if you are not exposed to it it at an early age. I notice it with many people where they simply cannot understand or fathom certain things because they lack empathy. Very important trait to have.

Walla Ned I agree, my family always makes sure we raise our kids with empathy. It's sad because my cousin has come home crying with bruises because the kids don't have empathy and choose to attack her because she's Japanese and part of a white family. In my household if you didn't raise your kid with empathy you almost failed as a parent

Awe! What others saw as damaged and destroyed, Seungjae saw as lost and sad. He gave value to an abandoned old toy and gave it comfort. His daddy is just as great to nurture his son’s feelings.

Can we just say thank you to Jiyong for trying and saving Dooly? Most parents would just throw it out, but it just shows Jiyong is trying with Seungjae. I love this show omg
Although Seungjae’s segment was the shortest in this episode of TROS I find that it was the most touching one. For one so young he has great empathy - as mentioned by the doctor in the next episode. He is so smart, so creative and imaginative, yet so kind and empathetic towards the old, the “beggars”, animals, stuff toys. As someone mentioned here, I find his segment most enjoyable cos there is always something to learn from him or Jiyong. And Jiyong is making great effort to improve as a father. I only wish His segments are longer.

They already joined 3 years but seungjae only one year 2 month’s .. v short period for him to leave .. he is one of the best in TROS .. his every episode is the best . Hope he stay longer .. William is the most boring .. cannot talk n the father looks like us the main star rather than Willam. Wasting time should give more to seungjae .

Seungjae you will probably be a good doctor, so great heart and he has a good skills to comunicate with the sick person, hehehe, I loved it, and His father who respect his desition to keep his toy. Both are very Cute. Be safe and healthy all the family Momy too.

Omg, it made me tear up a little when he was so innocently asking Dooly about Dooly's family, etc. I used to watch Dooly as a little kid, and I cried when Dooly got separated from his mommy in a movie :( Little children know pain and empathy. And it's lovely to watch his parents fostering that in him, rather than making him cynical and cold.

I saw on Jiyong's Instagram that he is really passionate about environmental protection. I wonder if he is the one who suggested showing a portion about recycling and reducing waste by repairing old toys. No wonder Seungjae is so empathetic and responsible and loves animals.

Seungjae is the best TROS cutie. Every episode is a heartwarming and everytime you learn something from him and his dad. They are the best duo to appear in TROS but I not happy cos they are not given more time . Sometimes 8mins .. why is kbs not giving seungjae n dad more time . The others kids are given 20 to 30 mins and you learn nothing but dad playing prank on his kids or showing them eating but dun talk .. hope kbs will give seungjae and dad more time slot and also a special date like the triplets before they leave the show .. hope they dun leave cos I won’t see TROS anymore cos seungjae and dad is the reason I see this show .
