I saw him perform this in a tiny club in Toronto (late 80s), so emotional, I couldn't believe it I was sitting 6 feet from this man. "Thank God, somebody bought my records", was what he said, after a few songs as I was singing harmony :)

Beautiful song, tears in my eyes hough. I wonder what Clem would've sounded like doing the solo. RIP Jack, thank you for sharing your amazing talent with us,

Boy do I miss Jack. I saw him with Leslie West in a bar in the 1980s that was far beneath their statue. The music had changed. But I didn't care because I was within 10 yards of these guys and happy as could be. Although Jack was far more versatile and talented than the Cream gig allowed, he, Eric and Ginger loved and respected each other between fights and created a legendary band that pushed each to greater heights. If you get a chance, read Jack's book "Composing Himself."

I saw this line up at Hofstra University on Long Island in the early 80's . What a band! David Sancious, who used to play with Bruce Springsteen, and Billy Cobham who played with John Mclaughlin in the Mahavishnu Orchestra
This song represents Jack Bruce more than anything. That's why it's so good!

Billy Cobham (Mahavishnu Orchestra, George Duke, Stanley Clarke, Miles Davis) Spectrum is the best album I have ever heard. It was revolutionary for me, like Sgt. Peppers was.

Hate to be a stinker, but that guitar solo was a bit over the top, and the tone was not really suitable for the song. A good point of reference, not necessarily for that much emulation, is Leslie West's more lyrical approach on an ax that has a fuller sound, yeah, like a Les Paul.

Surprised to see the real blues man former Colosseum axe man just playing the bass. Clem should had played the solo ala Colosseum style... What a disappointment. I´ll go back to Colosseum, once again.
