The regulator rectifier is in danger putting it on the back under the seat! A lot of heat will around it, and it risks getting on fire. So better putting it on the front, unless your town's weather is too low like 7°C or less. Be careful!
Hi! Your channel and website are always a go-to for me when I'm researching something for a scooter video. I'm planning on doing some Ruckus videos sometime in the future, so I'll be on your channel watching everything when I do. Congrats on the 144K subscribers too, it feels like you got to 100K just recently. You definitely earned it!
Hi , i was trying to change my honda cvt scooter motorcycle lead acid battery to lithium iron 12 volt but had huge trouble connecting and identifying all the components such as rectifier cables etc, even after watching a lot of your videos repairing Chinese scooter I thought I could do it too but damn was I wrong, I found out using a multimeter to check for the right cable to connect was actually way harder than you made it look. Man you are a real pro, or maybe I am a real noob that is bad at understanding all the technical aspect or fixing and modifying a scooter. If everything does not go well I will put my old lead acid battery back in and be done with it lol
@@merabiamkoladze5929 I was wrong, there is no need to touch the wire assembly, but the battery I bought was faulty, so the project will continue when I buy a new one in the future.
05:21 build coil by your self is so easy. Use Honda Tiger bike regulator and make the electricities become fullwave DC power. Chane better CDi and Better coil from Suzuki
hello! I have a gy6 puma romeo 150cc scooter and my right on off switch part broke can you tell me where I can get a replacement part or what I can replace it with? thanks. great videos
Paul, I came across this motorcycle for real cheap on my country and i'm very interested on getting one but I have to ask you, Is it worth taking one? Are engine and parts common with other chinese motorcycles? I hope you can answer
I have been trying to figure out if this will fit my QMB139 engine. It has the 8 pole, but I am not sure if the bolt pattern is the same. Any ideas if this will fit?
I wonder if it'll fit a 125cc Buddy. I just take the battery in each night and throw it on the NOCO 1. Gets about six months or so out of a Weize battery - no different than a much more expensive YUASA. My scooter also really needs a new wire harness at this point as it's a stolen recovery. I have a six inch PIAA LED light bar which pisses off all the EV SUV drivers who are too proud to get cataract surgery. I don't care. No one veers into my lane anymore while on their phone. It's been a while since I changed out the pick up coil ( can be bought separate on Amz for the Buddy ) but I think I only have a 5 pole stator from the factory.
I got a 2005 xtreme daytona 125. I was able to fully restore it to great condition following ur videos thanks man.
That's awesome! I'm glad the videos helped.
Still the best scooter tutorials. Thank you.
Excellant Video, @ 70 yrs old and 30 plus m/c"s later. i learned how to properly test the charging system...THANKS

Why did you even have to touch wiring

Thank you, I follow you from Saudi Arabia 😊

I hope you will make a video on how to add sespension to the rear tire on the right side of this scooter🙂🙃
I own this same scooter, but the outer shell is damaged and I want a new outer shell, where can I find it 🤔
You went to the battery and you grounded it out to the frame and mine has a red and a blue wire so I think mine is both hot
Nope, negative is ground*
What abt the light dnt turn on
Charges good but my light dnt go on
How exactly did you wire the new regulator ???
Into *rectifier/regulator*, from there to old connectors to battery, lights are on battery +
Dude you did not show the regulator hook up. You just said the white connector from the scooter will not be used then moved on. ...

Chinese scooter are usually a complete disaster. Check out this video: th-cam.com/video/a40dcmD99kQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=CjOrJ0geUmCS4CPt
Is this a full wave rectifier or halfwave
I belive 3 phase

the site should list all the motor models it will fit.
Is this process the same on 50cc scooters?
All taotao
Next video : how to fix burnt turn signal and tail light bulbs

omg i bought my scooter for 300 bucks and half ways through the video i realise that for me to use my lights i need to use over 200 bucks 🤬
maybe i'll just buy a car alternator and hook it up somehow
You can find the 11 pole stator upgrade online for a lot cheaper. Rolling wrench charges too much for his parts.
