if you are actively losing weight, don’t get any surgery done. you’ll end up needing to get it done again after you are at your goal weight or weight your body wants to sit at.

Skin removal is quite literally the best thing ever. But please make sure you’re 100% sure your eating is under control. It sounded like you were still eating badly, just less with the Zepbound. It’s bad to have surgery if you gain a bunch back. Also research breast implant illness. A lift is great imo.

I'll be finishing my second year of medical school in a year so manifesting that I pass my exams for sure, but also really want to have ditched my social media addiction and found more joy in hobbies and the littler things in life :) Recently started crocheting because of you Sam and it has been so calming to have a hands on hobby that keeps me off social media!!
Hey someone with augmentation here! Make sure you have a few weeks off after surgery to properly rest and find a great doctor! If there’s one thing to be super picky about it’s picking your plastic surgeon! I love mine because he’s very honest and doesn’t try to push any additional stuff, you tell him what you want he tells you realistically whats possible, and is super transparent the whole time. All the signs of a good plastic surgeon!
what are your tips on picking a “good” plastic surgeon tho like what helped you be able to tell? (also so glad you had a good experience
@@abbyz13 so for me I looked for honest reviews I looked at how he interacted with others. And my personal test was asking “can you make me look like Pamela Anderson” (I didn’t actually want to look like Pam, though she’s very beautiful, this was just a test) he said “no we can make you look like you with implants” and that was the absolutely correct answer. A bad plastic surgeon will promise the world but a great one will be realistic about your results. Which he was and through the whole process really was a great respectful doctor.

I got a reduction/lift after major weight loss! Your surgeon will prob tell you this themselves, but during consultations a few surgeons told me it was a good idea to be sitting at my new "normal" "comfy" weight for a while before surgery. The results could get a little messed up if I suddenly put on or lost a lot of weight in the few years following!
Yeah even more important is getting your activity/diet under control and not be dependent on a brand new fad wt loss injection with sketchy availability and side effects

I can so relate to the pretty little liars thing. I feel like that’s so normal to have like a comfort show also something that’s predictable, like you know everything that’s gonna happen so nothing will be stressful really. It’s good to watch your comfort shows to help it can also help you remember and process hard emotions associated with that time. Good luck with that girlie❤️❤️

I really appreciate you talking about plastic surgery, Sam. I am on a weight loss journey too and want to get a breast reduction and lift. But i need to be more at what they say is an ideal weight so they can be proportionate. Also Andrew, love that you are supportive of Sam doing what she wants with her body. Love yalls conversations. Always a highlight of my week.

Also Sam I loved the openness about your body and all the skin, as always I appreciate you so much. I feel like you are being such a good bestie as well as showing us like really how to be a girls girl. Like we can just talk about our bodies and not shame ourselves or others. I had a baby a while ago and now I have a lot of extra skin too and stretch marks but no shame!
I can absolutely relate to the breast struggles with excess skin and everything with weight changes. I had a reduction in April, and have zero regrets

In a year, i will have submitted a book for publishing for the first time ever, become a certified enneagram coach, and moved into the new house we're renovating.
By the way, Sam, I had a fleur-de-lis abdominoplasty and hernia fix last October after my ab muscle walls were severely separated (diastasis recti) after having babies, and that entailed removing a large amount of extra skin and fat that hung around my belly button like a donut. I was 38 at the time of surgery, I'm technically still recovering and i have a gnarly scar--but i have never felt more positive about my body and I think it's one of the best things I have ever done for my body.
Also also, i loved the energy in this episode you guys, I cracked up so many times. You are both so fun to listen to and you both look GREAT in this, just sayin!!

Andrew I am the same way about clothes! If I’m not comfy I’m so anxious but then if I wear comfy big t shirts I still get anxious bc I’m not dressed cute ugh
My husband and I just moved into our first house together as home owners! In a year from now i hope we will have everything we already own settled in, and that we have at least temporary furniture in all the nooks and crannies that we don't have yet.. we're moving from a 1200 sq ft 2 bd 2 bath apartment to a 2500 sq ft bungalow with a finished basement.. 3 bd 3 bath, sunroom, deck, patio, den in the basement, 2 bedrooms/office in the basement too.. it feels huge! So I just hope we get it together! Lol

My parents married in October 1971, and they honeymooned to opening of Disney World, so our family did all kinds of cookouts. Which is one family event that was enjoyable as oldest grandchild on fraternal side. Sam as I grew up learned that not all families did cookouts. Then as adult how different cookouts in other families.

My manifestation for myself(and my family): that my son will be in at the university he wants to go to(he already has contiguous acceptance) and that we are getting ready to take him to school in Aug, I’ve lost the last 30 lbs and maybe a few more, I’m healthy and thriving and maybe pregnant(after over 10 yrs and 9 losses) and staying pregnant, my husband has received another promotion, we’ve started renovating our home, my youngest is happy & healthy and thriving and we have started car shopping for him. We are also planning our biggest vacation yet. 🤗🥳
I’m an outpatient therapist now but I used to work in an inpatient facility and you really do see some interesting human behavior.

My grandma worked at a mental hospital in Pittsburgh PA called Woodville. She did have the best stories. My math teacher worked there before being a teacher and she also had stories!

@@nikkibleh8045 So I've used it since I was 16. Im 30 now. It was the Dove Revive pomagranate. I use it on my armpits and my underboobs. After a few applications it literally burned my skin off and now its scabbed over in those areas. Thinking I got a bad batch from Amazon, or they changed the formula. 🤦♀️😭
