Jews for Jesus ministry also allows women to teach over men, as seen in the Australia branch that holds a Bible study led by a woman teaching men. This woman is part of the Jewish staff there, and she also frequently teaches the "Messianic Passover Seder" to church audiences that include men. This is easily found here on TH-cam. This female staff member at Jews for Jesus Australia appears to lean towards progressive/emergent Christianity, which embraces the anti-biblical practice of ordaining women pastors.
You just recently praised Jews for Jesus as "a very cool ministry" for their evangelism unto Jews. Yet, they are not even biblically obedient, as seen in their ecumenism and their female "spiritual leadership."

People sinning and dying seems to be a daily occurrence so I would seem to me that the covenant is still in play. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into he world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.
For UNTIL the law, sin was in the world; but sin is not taken into account when there is no law.
Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of Him that was to come.
Sin entered into the world through Adam, and death through his sin.
Therefore, sin was in the world BEFORE the law was given.
But sin is not taken into account when there is no law. (The law was given through Moses to make us accountable for our sin).
Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses (who gave the law) over those who didn't break a command as Adam did.

The word "torah" has multiple meaning

      2. The First 5 books of the bible.
      3. The Mosaic Law that was given to Moses and to the Nation of Israel.

Are you aware that the Jews for Jesus ministry is ecumenical? There is a culture within their ministry to not say anything that "bashes" Roman Catholicism. They also recommend Calvinist resources, even though a Messianic Jew i met living in Israel told me that RC Sproul repeatedly used the word "Palestine" as not even the Jews today use that moniker to refer to their own rightful land given to them by the God of Jerusalem. "Palestine" used today has abundant antisemitic connotations. To recommend Calvinism/Reformed thought is absurd for a ministry that is supposed to evangelise to Jews, because Calvin and Luther both held despicable contempt for Jews in addition to their Roman doctrines.
You can see this for yourself by chatting with the staff of Jews for Jesus (in person or online through the chat function of their website), calling their HQ in SFO, observing their own social media profiles, joining one of their online Bible studies, etc.
David Cloud is a long-term missionary who has said that since the late-80s, he has seen Jews for Jesus at church conferences where Romanist bishops were also in attendance.

@@TheBiblicalRoots Consider also participating in one of their branches' Bible studies via Zoom, and asking pertinent questions regarding Roman heresies (you might also encounter a woman teaching the Bible study over the men).
In their most recent video by a branch in Israel (called "SO BE IT!" channel), they discuss Jew-hatred in the early church, but make little to no distinction that it was the ROMAN CATHOLIC Church that heavily persecuted Jews. You will see the broad dismay towards Jews for Jesus's failure to make this distinction, in multiple comments below the video.
This should be very, very alarming, if it is all true as it does appear, of a ministry supposedly evangelising the Gospel for Jews. Alarming, but not surprising unto the Bible's forewarnings of apostasy in the last days.

@@tbishop4961 The actual historical evidence is that the entire Old Testament, including Deuterocanonicals, was translated (or in a few cases, written directly) into Greek in Alexandria, Egypt, by the Greek-speaking Jewish community there during the years 250-50 B.C. Like every Bible translation in history, it first began with the Torah, and then later came to include the rest of the books. Later, a mythical, fairy-tale legend arose that it was translated by 70 (or 72) sages that were all locked away in separate rooms and all came out with identical, letter-for-letter translations. Because of this myth, the entire set of Greek translations, including various updates and revisions, had come to take on the name "Septuagint" before the time of Christ.
But nobody actually believes in that fairy-tale. The legend can, however, teach us about how well respected the entire Old Testament in Greek was at the time of Christ and the Apostles. And everyone, everywhere has referred to that entire library of books as the Septuagint. All historians. All biblical scholars. Everywhere and always. That's just how the word is used. Get over it. Nobody is trying to deceive anyone of anything by using the word Septuagint for what everyone refers to as the Septuagint, today and for thousands of years.
By making the bizarre accusation that people are trying to be deceptive, all you are doing is giving away that fact that you believe in fairy-tales, and have way below average intelligence.

    • @TheBiblicalRoots
      @TheBiblicalRoots  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

I'm not quite following your objection, T. Are you suggesting that only the Torah was translated into Greek? Or that the word "Septuagint" should only be applied to the Greek Torah and not the rest of the Tanakh in Greek?
