Looking for a grocery store in a barrio of Managua, Nicaragua

After checking into Art Hotel Managua, I went for a short walk around the area where the hotel is located. I met some interesting characters on the street... someone even told me not to walk past a certain area. There is a taxi station and a medical center in the proximity: I didn't really know if the neighbourhood was considered dangerous.
