I noticed at the beginning of this vid that you have it in 4 on the gear selector. That is the "Sport Mode" for shifting. It shifts at different points than when it's in Drive. It's less fuel efficient in 4 but the power is nice. Shifts a lot different in Drive. I haven't tried the manual-automatic shift mode yet but I plan to soon. Nice car you have. I have the V6 version and I like it.
@@chipete1 : See if it has had the Recall work done from Cadillac. There were at least 5 items my car needed when I got it that the previous owner never took it in for. Which is stupid because all the work and parts were free. Transmission linkage, Catalytic Converters, Stereo/CD Player, Ignition Switch and a couple of more small items which I can't remember at the moment. Be aware that the rear tires are smaller than the front tires in case you do tire rotations or get new tires. The wheels are the same size but the tires are not. The Steering Wheel Position Sensor.. just get it switched out even if you aren't getting a Stability Warning. It's a common failure on 2004 and newer GM cars so if it' not bad when you get the car, it soon will be. That's pretty much all I can say for now. My car has been pretty awesome even with all the work done to it since I got it. Great driving. Smooth as silk on the highway. Plenty of power even from the V6.
@@chipete1 The 1993 to 2000 Northstars are to be avoided. Once they hit 100K Miles they are ticking time bombs. GM/Cadillac fixed the problem after 2000 and those engines are more reliable.

I'm looking to purchase a 2006 Cadillac SRX. Are there anything that I should look out for when going to search for this vehicle

@@Buses2Bikes should I stay away from the Northstar engine? I heard people say they have many kinds of problems.

@@Buses2Bikes I'm curious about a 2005 SRX 4.6l with 200k. Is it worth the money?
Does your SRX have the optional Magnetic ride control?
The Only way to find out is Contacting a GM dealership and giving them your vin.
I am not sure and we sold the SRX a while ago now.
@@RnWSolutions Hello, why did you sell it? Did you have any technical issues with it?
@@zygintasjasiulis1675 I sold it because I am a car dealer - that's what I do, I buy them, fix them, enjoy them, then sell them.
How’s the gas?
We got about 18 all highway, 15 avg.
