Another beautiful general store still going today they really bring back
memories of when I was a kid and
they were either called general stores
or Mom and Pop stores with groceries,
general merchandise,cooked food and
served coffee, sold gas and other things
Thanks again for showing these real stores like this Thank You.☺️👋🇺🇲
thanks for watching
Oh Lord John the memories I had in that store with my Grandmother
what years did you go there?
I bet she's got a lot of interesting stories from her farm days.
Country cooking is gourmet food at it's finest
WOW 😳 John and Jodi. This was absolutely amazing and incredible. Love seeing old general stores. I hope and pray that these old general stores will be alive for many years to come. What a treasure. I hope this store is flooded by the 1000's to keep them in business. We will miss this part of history once it's gone. Shop Local and let's keep this fine business thriving!
Closing at 2 and closed 3 days a week, I'll have to schedule my vacation to try and eat there
Good stuff. I was raised in that community and still live here. At one time, there were 4-5 country stores within a bicycle ride.
Piedmont community started out being called “Mount’s Crossroads”. It was formed after the civil war by former Union soldiers. Because of mail mixups between places with the name “crossroads”, Mount’s Crossroads became Piedmont.
We have photos of the store in its very early days.
Thanks John and Jodi. Wonderful video. Please keep looking for these old stores. Know there's more out there.
Thank you! Will do!

7:42 $5.99 for a clubhouse sandwich is a nice deal. I paid $15.95 two days ago at my local pub. It did come with fries but even with the $2.49 she charges for fries its still a good deal.
God be with 😎
Going to Priddys tomorrow 👍
Great video but now I'm hungry for a bologna (baloney) sandwich!!
Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment!

My best friend grew up on a working family farm that he still lives on. They also slaughtered hogs on Thanksgiving.
That's awesome

I bet that gravy is good
Thank-you! What's the name of that old
guitar?
People talking about pork killing people when people eating pork is out living the younger generations 😊
Can you imagine trying to buy all that hardware and older new stock today? You couldn't replace it for what they paid.
Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment!
Although the videos are nice You should write a book that contains stories from the people in the videos. I am sure these people have interesting and inspiring stories
That's a good idea!
This is not Dandridge. Thus us the community of Pedmont.
The address is Dandridge though.
Dandridge 37725 encompasses the town and several communities surrounding it.
How much is the Stover
Too bad we didn't get to see any of that cooking
I didn't know that this was still open. Been a long time since I been here.
