This film, using maps as well as archive material, takes you on two tours around the town.
The first is a visit to High Harrogate - the original Harrogate where visitors came to the Tewit Well (the first well founded in 1571) and St John's Well.
The second part starts at the Cenotaph right in the centre of the town and takes in the Royal Pump Room and the Valley Gardens, before heading into the town centre and looking at the attractions there.
Filmed 2019- 2020 you actually walk the streets and often see behind the scenes to create a unique visit to the town like no other.
It has a full commentary explaining what you see and some fun facts!

It's The Royal Hall NOT Theatre Royal I was born in Harrogate but moved to the south West in 1990 so a lot has changed since then!

A place famous for Class 170 Turbostar
This is a great video but I wish the photographer wouldn't have used a distortion ("fish eye") lens.
Lots to fit in there, shame that Bilton, Starbeck and old Harrogate didnt get a look in ... and i'm speaking as \ privileged Ashville Kid..
Interesting video but a few naming mistakes. The Royal Hall next to the Exhibition Centre has never been known as the Theatre Royal. It has its name displayed on the front in the video. The school next to St Paul's URC is actually St Peter's Primary school, not St Pauls.
Yes, I went to that school when it was a secondary modern. (probably showing my age!).😃
Is it not pronounced 'ka-libby-eight'?
