That was utterly phenomenal. A wonderful mix of cleans and harsh vocals - well mixed as well - the ability to hear all the instruments individually was a welcome change. Crushing at times and melodic at others. Thanks for sharing that. Favorite of mine for TOTY 2022.

Wow, didn't expect this as well, his vocals in the last album with EE were really good especially the cleans but hearing it in this capacity is even better, and instrumentally also amazing even with out the EE boys. Hopefully the new EE vocalist can do cleans as well because I loved that about The Chosen . Hyped to hear more from Dan and Mire!
That and all of the progressive elements of The Chosen made it a really special album, imo. Really, really hope they stick with it.

At first i didn't think the cleans fit well, but i was wrong !!! This song evolvedf into a very well produced and mixed experience!!!! LOVED IT !!!
Also, I say this everytime I heard the song.. BUT DUDE! Please Am I the only one that hears James LaBrie from Dream Theater in that Chorus? Its uncanny! SO CRAZY!

I highly recommend you check out his older stuff with Mire Lore, like others here do as well. If you want some screaming guitars from Chris Wiseman, check out 'Return to the Abyss'. If you want to hear some insane cleans mixed with gutturals, check out 'The End is Near', or 'Marrow Leech' if you want to hear pandemonium.
Dan is focusing on this project from now on, and he promised that things will get 'much heavier'.
I loved this track and how the Mire Lore sound is evolving, assumption based on this single but could be wrong. But I playthru Marrow Leech quite often. As an outsider point of view Marrow Leech to me is like IA adjacent, but more bleak and sad overall sound, which I love. Hope you enjoy it as well! 🤘🏽

The cleans in this bad johnson are so great! Hauting / macabre and really seem to fit into the song. The video was creepy as well. I loved everything about this track.

Enterprise Earth - Where Dreams Are Broken ...Dan used 3 vocal types ...low usual grind ...high grind (ACDC anyone?) and a normal tone. So yeah expected him to go with normal voice parts.

Fantastic track. Feels like a mix of Wage War in the clean chorus, and Cabal/Humanity's Last Breath/Enterprise Earth elsewhere. Melodic and crushing.

Dan originally left because he was having health issues and didn't forsee a future with EE. I believe he saw his end with EE, and stylistically wanted to move past it because this is what he's wanted: "What came to fruition instead was a complete death of my life and collapse of everything I put effort into.", or, his long-standing career with EE and his 'rebirth' into Mire Lore.
