Pull tabs often called "pop tops" were used in the 60s and 70s. Perhaps you've heard the famous song lyric "I blew out my flip flop, stepped on a pop top...."
Happy Thanksgiving. I remember my Mother’s parents house had a dump like that one up in the woods away from their house. They lived at the base of Chestnut Ridge in Hillside, Pennsylvania.
I am trying to figure out exactly where you picked up this trail. Where did you park? Nice change of plans! Buckridge Trail is a very appropriate name.
Is this near the swopes valley trailhead? That bridge looks familiar and we want to hike it this weekend if possible. Thanks and hope your Thanksgiving was a good one
Well you are still wet behind the ears if you have not had a pull tab can of pop...lol I used to collect the pull tabs, link them together to make llllonnnggg chains.
The trail with no name is now, Buck Ridge trail! Let it be written, let it be done. Beautiful country!
