*GLORIOUS 80s!!!* Indeed, the FIRST decade that enjoyed the widespread start of consumer tech. BUT was still early enough that most things people needed to do, work for, sweat for and enjoy --- were still very "analog" and simple. *Like for example using the rotary phone and calling your crush (and hope no one eavesdrops on the shared line) then strategically sending hand-written perfume-infused love letters via snail mail and hoping the postman (or a suspicious father) won't intercept and open it before your crush could.*
I love how when you are watching an old 80s film and hear some of these beats in the film, it is like you are transported. Takes us back to a different time. Thanks ;)
You really nailed the nostalgic feel with these tracks. Does it give me the urge to dive headfirst off a bridge sometimes? Yes, but that just shows how good of a job you did making this.
I've been looking for a new Synthwave/Retrowave channel because they ALL seem to default to calling their mixes "Synthwave" and/or "Retrowave" when MOST of the music ends up just being CHILLWAVE. I don't mind Chillwave but... It tends to subdue the energetic spirit of the 80s music I remember and love. It ends up boring me after a bit. It doesn't ALL have to be "CHILLWAVE". This mix does a decent job of avoiding falling into that pit trap. If this channel can manage to strike a good balance then I'll give a subscribe for sure!
Hello! I want to start by saying how impressed I am with the amazing content you share on this channel. The effort and passion you put into each video is evident, and it really shows in the quality of your work. I really admire the way you approach topics and how you manage to keep viewers engaged. :)
The compilation of your work sounds great!! Any chance for the first track ("Tears in the Rain") to be a separate track from the rest, please? I am arranging a playlist for my long hikes and this track would be perfect for my playlist. I love those up beat, relaxing and at the same time semi-fast tracks (brilliant for walking). Keep up the great work, thumbs up!!!!
I LOVE this sound and all that you do on this channel. I have tinnitus and this helps to drown it out while I study. However, as is natural and expected with electronic music, there is a constant high frequency which gets painful after a while, and I have to switch this out. 😞
Track 2: Synthetic Realism "Synthetic realism discovers that the search for context proves endless, bound only by our ability to perceive or conceive" Track 3: Existentially Essential
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." -John 3:16. Jesus of Nazareth, The Messiah, died for the remission of sin, including yours, was buried and rose from the dead on the third day. Whoever believes on him has everlasting life in heaven. "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." -Acts 16:31.
Love track 11 and 22 :) But the whole is fantastic. 22 Evokes the feeling of the movie's end and the departure into the setting sun so this title could be interesting: A Voyage into Dusk
This is one of my favorite playlists and the first track especially is one of my favorite synth tracks I've ever heard. I'm crossing my fingers you get your music onto Apple Music or Spotify so that I could listen to it easier, but I love it enough to keep a youtube tab open so I can keep listening
Track 9: Yokohama sunset For some reason it reminds me of all the times I rode the train back from work in Yokohama back to my house in Tokyo. and I would see the sun go down over Tamagawa river. I really love that one, gives me a nostalgic feeling.
Sometimes I feel like I'm an old man, always wanting to live with the most simple and somewhat "old" things. I'm always looking for old songs, old stories, old shops,... life is normal and somewhat slow. Likes to read things that take time to understand.
What a fantastic job, indeed! Your enthusiasm is infectious, and it's clear that you're thoroughly enjoying this masterpiece. Music has a magical way of bringing joy and positivity into our lives, and it's wonderful to see you revel in it. Keep on enjoying the fantastic vibes! 🎶🌟👏

Track 17 is my favorite!! I love the twinkle star sounds! It just makes me happy!
Feels like blockbuster movie night back in the day.

I never get tired of this sound.....

haha thanks I think? Please don't dive headfirst off any bridges! Unless theres water below 😄
Don't do that
Lost in the melody, where time stands still. 🎶✨
This awesome music sounds like the soundtrack to some dramatic car chase or some other scene in an 80’s movie! I was so fortunate to be an 80’s kid!
🏎️🏎️
Thanks😊🙏🏼
Track 5: "Vibrancy". I absolutely love this music!
Great name idea!! I like it!!!😆👍🏼

All u 40 year olds sure get very nostalgic
It’s called reminiscing 😂😂😂
I'm 42 and I dig it, very groovy baby
59 and I still dig it... great music, reminiscent of an era when anything seemed possible ...
And everything now is a remake..😂
What is old is new again.
Is it supposed to make you feel you were around in the 80s despite being born in the nineties?
That’s the goal! But it’s just my take on it! The music was so diverse then😃
art link??

Why is this called 80s music? It seems timeless.
Hahaha true 😜
Is this AI art?
Yep😃 I use Midjourney 5 then some image editing tools to finish it off😃
@GalacticDrive you did this??? Well done!!
Love the artwork! Any chance to link it up?
yes please.

Thank you to bring the lights and colours of the 80's back to my life.

I guess life was just slower back then! Less distractions allowed you to enjoy the small moments?

Track 10, Please...

you use AI for the images right? its pretty dope, also the reason I clicked on the video
Yeah I do. I use Midjourney. I love playing around with different outputs. It's pretty amazing software!
