We did it better back in the 80s for sure,
when we lived in a Spielberg dream

      @@robertdaone Hi,
Yes, yes it was. It Was a lot quieter, over here in the UK that is. Men & women seemed to be better looking ( the women especially). No political correctness, no woke.
Seemed as well that different ethnic groups got on better in the 80's, because it came from the heart, whereas now being "racist" is a criminal act ( although racism is evil) but still!
Even though the 80's like any other decade wasn't perfect, everything was done from the ❤️ back then,

@@robertdaoneyou know I use to love ( well I can say that now) walking down certain streets in my home town over here, but not now!
Not that they're dangerous or anything, but they sparkled in the 80's when we were teenagers. In fact believe it or not the Streets were more dangerous in the 80's, but it was a different kind of danger, as you only got a right royal kicking, whethers now, you can get stabbed or killed, but getting a kicking was way more frequent than the latter ( hard to explain, I know, but one had to have been there to know why?) Me thinks it had, & has to do with CCTV.
There wasn't much in the way of materialism, and money. Was at a happy medium.
Anyway that's my bit on the 80's.

We saw everything from Atari to PS5, from vinyl records to Spotify, from floppy disks to cloud files, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the rise of the internet, the birth of smartphones. I was born in 1971. Music from the 1980s can be divided into early 80s and later 80s. Later 80s was much more like pop music; the early 80s was the classic synthwave sound. This video truly captures the synthesizer-driven music of the early 80s that was so magical and different from the 1970s-era music that preceded it. Synthwave reflected the spirit of the 1980s: technology and forward-looking optimism.

ANY TIME I hear 80s music I get nostalgic and want to go back if only for the music. GREAT BANDS GREAT MUSIC AND LIFE DIDNT SEEM TO BE FALLING APART, the sky was the limit. I would go back in a minute if I could. Your not the only ancient that misses that time period.

Born in 1978, a child of the 80's, a rebel (teen years) in the 90's. As I remember most of the 90's on a more conscious level, it is the 80's that has made an impact to me. Whenever I hear 80's music, it automatically takes me back into a "non-specific memory" but more of like a "feeling" of bitter-sweet childhood emotions where everything was pure, simple and happy. 80's will always be the best, where everyone was awesome and cool. 80's will always have an unbreakable bond in my heart until my dying days. Music like these, it's transcendental. You're a genius man! Thanks for this.

That was the decade that decided we had missed an entire 2 cycles of development in arms and armor, and damn didn't they give us the best - the M1 Abrams, Kevlar Helmets and body armor, the M16A2 rifle, the M204 SAW, the Bradley AFV...all to the score of DEVO, Flock of Seagulls, Nena (99 Luftbalons) Prince, Blondie, Sugar Hill Gang...cyberpunk before it was cyberpunk.

Born in 1971 (January) and teenager in the great 80s. Oh Lord, I confirm that we'd really need to go back to that era ! It was full of creativity, and we had so much freedom (of thoughts and speech) compared to nowadays. We had just enough technologies to make our days easier, but not enough to enslave us. Life was not perfect of course, but it was more rad, "chillier", and somewhat brighter, like subdued light of coloured neons. 🌆

Some of us were neglected, but not un-loved... just left to ourselves, (which I actually loved); so many good times and memories. Music was a HUGE part of our lives, probably because it wasn't instant, at least not until CD's. All the tapes I owned had been bought at least 2X minimum. Soundtracks were a big deal back then, this playlist is a memory pill of sorts, thanks for sharing! When my kids hear me talk about high school, they just can't relate, at all. They don't get that talking, storytelling and hanging out was the norm. Most kids have a hard time communicating, but they can all text. Thanks so much for the support M. L.🙂I’ve been very fortunate that my channel has been received super well.
Ironically, I was only just accepted into the TH-cam partner program around 10 days ago, but then immediately removed. TH-cam deemed my channel as “reused content” that “does not offer any value to viewers”.
I feel this claim is 100% incorrect and false! I’ve asked for examples, and they won’t tell me, which is just crazy. I also asked how could a human from TH-cam initially review my channel and accept me and my content into the program, but then an automated bot remove me? Again they won't answer!
So I’m now reaching out to my supporters and subscribers for help. If you can spare a few minutes, it would mean the world to me if you could reach out to TH-cam via any social media handle you have.
On Twitter, you can tweet them @TeamTH-cam. On Instagram you can message them on their page TH-cam, on Facebook you can find their page as TH-cam.
If you could please reach out to them in any way, mention my TH-cam handle "GalacticDrive" and tell them how you as a TH-cam supporter find value in my content and that my removal from the TH-cam partner program should be reversed immediately.
I’m hoping if I can get enough support from my subscribers then TH-cam will listen and agree that my content does offer value to you😄 Thanks so much for your help! 🙏🏼

Born in 1969. Lucky enough to have lived every second of my youth in the 80's. It's not hyperbole to say that in America the 80's were pure magic. The nexus of technology, booming economy, pop culture and good-natured patriotism were a once in a lifetime event.

Even though I was born in 1989, I still feel like I have some sort of spiritual connection with this magical decade. I'm just so drawn to every good thing that the 80's had despite not really getting to experience said decade physically. Thank you for putting this out.

Well, the general feeling of the 80s bled well into the 90s. They were both distinct, but the spirit was similar. Stark contrast between them and the 2000s-present. You're the same age as my little brother, and he's through and through an 80s/90s kid.

Track 7 is one of the most heavenly, reflective and resonating tunes I have ever heard. What a wonderful creation. Thankyou!. Born 1985, but wishing I was born 1965 to have heard all 80s music live at the time!

I'm 33, grew up in the 90's and early 2000's, obviously. But such a soothing Feeling of Nostalgia and Greatness of a positive, humanistic 80's Spirit+Vibe always overcomes me with such Music.
