Great to hear!
Do note the particular microinverters limit the # of pv panels on a string. In the case of the IQ7+ it's limited to 13 on a 240VAC panel string. The microinverter model manuals will tell you the limit.

Great video, thanks a lot for the help! I'm coming from the solar edge side of the house some new to the DC to AC right on the roof. Do you have another video that shows what to do at the end of your strings? I saw the one side is a dead-end, I get that but does the other side go right down to your load center? I'm assuming you only need a junction box at the end of every string correct?

Is the envoy required for the system to work,or does it just send real time production data?
So these enphase inverters go plugged to the 220v line then. I'm doing off grid setup but like to learn stuff.
For off-grid, you'll need to wait for the Enphase EQ8 that supposedly can work off-grid. The EQ7 is a "grid-tie" inverter and needs to have the power grid to sync to.

@@xboxerdudekiingpurp5530 Last year, they estimated the release in early 2021 but that schedule has already passed by.
Look up the "Enphase Ensemble" product which will feature the EQ8's ability to work in both grid-tie and off-grid situations. The "Ensemble" product is supposed to be able to "ride out" a grid outage and continue to provide power to the home from batteries. Thus the need for an inverter that can operate in off-grid standalone mode.
One thing they don’t tell you is, don’t get the IQ seven inverters because your panels won’t work if it blacks out. You have to get the IQ8s
Good point. I made the video before iq8's. Still need to spend 3k on a controller for the iq8's to work wirhout power
One of my panels has gone dark already. A have an Enphase IQ7. It has to be a microinverter that has gone bad, correct?
No weather problems, other than intense heat in the summer.
You will want to switch the wires from a neighbor micro inverter with the one you think is bad to see if the problem follows the micro inverter or stays with the solar module. This video shows how: th-cam.com/video/k4i5KrhTO2g/w-d-xo.html

How many IQ7 Micros can I gather together? And How do connect 3 groups of 4 panels each on the roof?
13 in a string. You would end to end the groups with wires, in other words, tun them all as 1 continuous string, even if they are directly adjacent to each other.
Is the Envoy required,or can i skip this piece of equipment?
You do not need the envoy, but you will not be able to monitor it then and know if you have any issues crop up.
