Robert Zemeckis has stated that Back to the Future 4 will never happen, and while this is probably good news, there are some things which a sequel could have delivered. The Back to the Future trilogy came out between 1985 and 1990, and although there have been some calls for a sequel, many fans are content to leave it as it is. This makes Back to the Future a rare example of a franchise quitting while it was ahead, ensuring that it's legacy remains intact.
While Ghostbusters, Blade Runner, Top Gun and many more 1980s classics have received legacy sequels in recent years, Back to the Future is one franchise that seems untouchable. Legacy sequels and reboots have been hit-and-miss, so it may be for the best that Back to the Future remains in the past. Still, this means that all the untapped potential of a Back to the Future sequel will never be realized, and there are a few things that fans of Doc and Marty would have wanted to see.

That was my favorite, I remember the first time I rode it, and we flew into the Dinasours mouth, I expected to smell bad breath, that was one of the first rides like that, I rode it a 100x over...now its the Simpsons I believe..
that was my favorite ride going there as a teen. one of the few rides i was able to handle actually, so i would ride it on a constant loop after a bit of walking in between. I miss it so much. So stupid they replaced it with the simpsons. :(

I'm afraid that this is gonna end up like the "Netflix adaptation" meme. It can't be good, I have zero expectation. The third movie ended with a wonderful message, where the time machine (delorean, not the locomotive) was DESTROYED. I liked it that way.
But there were two them, there had to be. The test mule and the refined working proto-type vehicle. And there had to be more than one test mule. Why? Because failed tests would result in the the test mule exploding, mealting, catching on fire and several other things that would be put into the working proto-type. And the test mules that didn't get destroyed that didn't come back stopped where they ran out of fuel stuck in another time. And then who is to say that there was just one finished working proto-type to start with? Signed-Richard.

My idea for a Backtothefuture sequel trilogy is as follows: It is fourty years since the events in the three movies.
DocBrown's house have been abadonned for
fourty years and is in a shabby state.Three youths who live nearby goes there to clean up the place and make it ready for a sale.
While they are cleaning the house they find the scematics for the delorean and how the fluxcapasator makes timetravels possible.
They also find a video which shows one of the youths mother(possible Jennifer Parker)and she looks totally different than she looks today.
the youths also sees DocBrown holding a newspaper where Biff has the Grey's sport allmanac in his pocket from 1955.
They decide to build a new Delorean from DocBrown's scematics.
When they are finnished they decide to bring the Grey's sport allmanac(which is in common sale in 2022) with them.
They goes back to 1955 and knows allready that MartyMcFly detained JenniferParkers father when he took the caseboard apart in the first movie to use it as
a regular board.The youths prevent this from happening by giving MartyMcFly another board to stand on while flying away from Biff.
They also gives their fathers the Grey's sport allmanac.
When they comes home they all live in wealth and luxury
and JenniferParker looks like she looked in the first movie(played by ClaudiaWells or a lookalike)and it gives a happy ending to the first movie xD
In the second movie three neighbours to the first movies aganoists who are envious discover videos that show everything was different just a few days
ago.They start stalking the three youths and finds out about the Delorean timemachine.They also finds out about the Grey's sport allmanac.They decide
to steal both the delorean and bring with them the Grey's sport allmanac.In 1955 they gives the Grey's sport allmanac to their grandparents.They then
goes home to a life in wealth and luxury.
In the third and last movie,our three antagonists suddenly wakes up and see everything has changed around them.They see the three
neighbour youth now living in wealth and luxury and suspect that they has stolen the delorean and gone back to 1955.
They decide to go back themselves and change the events that the three neighbours have caused.
But there they meet a young DocBrown that warns them about making any more changes.He tells them he was contacted by his future
selves and that he told him to warn eventual other timetravellers.

yea but tell that to the The End card in the third movie, and bring this up with the creators of the trilogy, they will shoot all this down before you could get a word out, I said this on multiple fanmade trailers of BttF 4, the Creators of the movie have stated they will not make or every will do a 4th since it will ruin the trilogy

@@ControkNonen sorry to inform you but the creators have stated that BttF will never have a 4th movie, you can search that up online, if you look at my previos comment that the 3rd movie as a "The End" card stating that the story has concluded and can never have continuation stories pior to it, the creators will never change their mind on the matter becuase, and I will just say this here, they have said and stated but not word for word "a forth is just not possible becuase it will ruin the story", I am saying this all very nicely and for others to know I am not attacking anyone in this comment section for a 4th to happen, being civil here

Ramakes and reboots are a hit or miss situation and have ruined good movies, in this situation BttF should never have any or both remakes and reboots, it's a classic that should not be touched and it is perfect how it is, saying this becuase EVERONE knows that if this does happen to BttF it will ruin the franchise for the worst
