Great video and the sound is simply perfect! Thanks to have uploaded another great concert of this unforgettable wizard called Mick Taylor. This man with his Gibson Les Paul = Perfect Blues! Magic!!!
Yes, the sound is absolutely divine. EVERY Mick Taylor video I've ever seen has made me stop in my tracks. He's very special indeed. Didn't know he could sing.
what a great guitarist!!!! Every kind of musical stamp, tune, sound,,,,,from the tiniest to the loudest and always by an actual TASTE for the good music ,,,,Tks Mick you're the real thing!!!
So pleased thousands of others love, admire, respect & appreciate such a richly gifted guitar player and musician. Plus his fantastic contribution to the Rolling Stones. Last, I heard he was living in Germany & doing OK. Hope, he is still OK & plying his trade.
Mick's all right now that he's off the booze and stuff.... he can barely remember those days. Ron Wood's a great player but he did his best work with the Faces. He practically played all the guitars on "Some Girls" back in the day while Keith was in and out of bathroom with the Heroin. Keith is a great guitar player and even with all the arthritis he can rip into Robert Johnson pretty damn impressively .... all three of those guys are great and historical axemen in their own right... one against the other just doesn't really exist.... specially now they're all old timers now. That crap is all ancient history and they've all had great times and bad times... survivors one and all.
Very well said. What ever path and turns the stones took has left us with amazing music to listen to, so it didn't matter. If Taylor was just a kid and he stayed with the stones for 5 years and produced their best work. He has lived a full life.
Agreed! I'm just glad that he's earning a living again. It wasn't that long ago, he didn't have a pot to pee in. Another great man that came through the Mayall process was Peter Green. A shadow of himself now but his work will never die.
Sometimes being too kind and reasonable throws the truth out the window. Mick Taylor was the best of the three. If there is a second, it would be Keef, lastly Ronnie.
Another mans coffee is another mans tea... The way i look at Mr.Taylors decision to leave the stones..is.and i say it with maximum respect and love for his work and history, wass the wrong step and that is why. Look at Ronnie Wood he did the right thing and stayed.(But he also do his solo stuff and still being in the band)(Well done Ronnie😉) To play with a band like the Rolling Stones is the maximum that every musician can dreaming off.Okay Mick and Keith are the leaders and it might be hard to get along with them sometimes when it comes to their writing but thats life🙏 Not everybody is Jeff Beck or Eric Clapton,or Mark Knopfler. But the Stones always takes him back as a guest on stage, thats the way it is.Another fact is that you can turn back the time.Time moves on and so is the songwriting. Apart from that Mick and Ron having a band together and playing old blues and R and Classics, and this is extra cool and hopefully will the last. Exellent teamwork👌 So that is that. You can't always get what you want..... ps I also believe that the Rolling Stones, did a lots of great stuff with Brian Jones and Ronnie Wood too. Because it is a reall band that you don't just find around on every corner. I also believe that the Stones did great stuff with Woody, and in my opionen it is not fair, that the fans (some of them)always like to kick him out of the band, and take Mick back. Loyality is the magic key word....
Great guitarist!!! Always been one of my all time favourites!!! Brian Jones was awesome too for the era. MT is still one of the best bluesmen there is!!! Rock on bruv!!! 🎸🌟😎👍❤️🚀🏅
if it wasnt for mick taylors kickass blues guitar playing the stones sound would of never been planted, and the stones would of never been planted here in the states , so they dont give this dude the recognition he deserves and im sure he made money but not the appreciation and cash they should of gave him , his playing was the main hook for me back in the 70s , i dont care what anybody says , yeah i like alot of their songs after taylor but it was tunes like love in vain , for example, i seen the stones with and without and in 1980 live they sucked, at cleveland stadium 1980 they had a dude and a chic riding on a hire wire on a motorcycle to the top of the stadium no shit the girl was balanced under the rider on top and as they went up the cable they were spinning no shit they got more applause then the stones did. so there u go.
All these comments against Ronnie are stupid, I get that Mick Taylor is better but Ronnie doesn't deserve all these hatred. He saved the Stones after Taylor abruptly left and is a hell of a rocker in mind and spirit. Both Ronnie and Mick contributed to their ability to make the Stones such a great band it is today.
Agreed. Brian Jones, Mick Taylor and Ron Wood was the best guitar player Rolling Stones ever had. keith is only a ritmh guitarrist Definetely Mick Taylor was the best.
Mick Taylor and Bill Nelson are two guitar player that can play fast and melodic. They are gifted. Yes the stones where better with him, especially live.
Man könnte meinen eine danksagung an seinen lehrer John Mayal....jedenfalls ist Mick Taylor eine Gitarrenpersönlichkeit! die er schon längst bei den Rolling Stones war!!!!
Taylor. Wow. Fantastic. With the Stones, he was the perfect counter to Keith Richards stuttered rhythm three-note lead riffs. The Stones should have let him contribute more. He might have stayed longer and we would all have been the beneficiaries.
His voice is pretty good here. But his playing is amazing and he plays all that slide in standard tuning on his lespaul. His strats are tuned to open g and e

@@omeletpants Agreed. keith always needs another guitar player . keith is a bad guitar player (for me). And Mick Taylor is an excelent guitar player. Greetings
I am sorry for "woody". But he is not even a +/- lead-guitar-player. Though he seems to be a very nice guy. Following Mr. M. Taylor spot in the Rolling Stones was not an easy task. That is why I prefer their 1969-1974 music with a "real" lead-guitar-player like Mr. M. Taylor.
Mick Taylor is no doubt an excellent guitarist...excellent!! But there's no reason to bash another great guitarist..Ronnie Woods . I challenge any of his detractors to do better! Music critics are critics because they can'y play.
+Roberto Provenzani Like a beginner?I teach guitar for a living and if one of my beginner students came in with the talent of Ron Wood i'd be like what am i doing here.
Do you understand what I am saying, sorry I am a recording session drummer so I don’t mean to offend. But I hear that a lot these days. He’s the best, or he is not. I don’t understand can you explain what you really mean by he was the best the had. Just saying Peace. Hey great song love micks playing right. Cool.👍🙏
Mick did the Stones a big favor by joining them . However his latest Lifestyle plug says he has only $300, 000 in his booty . Criminal really . Stone members without him are quiet very ordinary , so not real musicians at all when looked at above all the hype . Jones was a class above whatever Richards will be , as is Woods just a little . Nothing seems to be sacred around that last fellow , Richards , I mean . Snorting his father's ashes ; I mean really ! Blessings to you and your family and loved ones , always , Mick . / submitted by Kenneth - NZ
In fact no one loves him (exept his friend Keith). He's not a guitarist, less more harp player and his pictures are dead artistically. Keith is not good guitarist but he's a true artist
Er ist vielleicht weder der begnadetste Sänger noch der charismatischstee Frontmann. Aber was er auf der Gitarre vorführt ist unerreicht. Ich werde es Keith Richards nie verzeihen, dass er ihn aus der Band gegrault hat.
I don't give a fuck what MT looks like...I only care what his fingers and voice do. It's all that matters. What a superficial guy you must be, blue head. :-/
Mick Taylor is a better guitar player than Eric clapton,Yes Gary Moore is faster.I would say Rory Gallagher is up there as well.Ronnie Mortrose has a blues touch but hard rock, also Pat Travers do as well.Wilko Johnson is a example how to play to popper guitar playing compare to those who rock and pop.
Mick's solo on "Sway" - in my opinion - ist one of the most beautiful in rock-music.
An opinion I wholeheartedly share.
I heard Mock Taylor play at 18 years old on Mayall's Diary of a Band album. He instantly became my favorite & still is!!! Hats Off to the MAN!!!
is mock taylor an impersonator of mick?
you really have some time to spend... wake up do something by yourself.
The playing on DIARY OF A BAND is fantastic....and he was only 18 then
Bob Hoffman Two albums😉
Mick Taylor leaves me speechless every time i hear him! Beautiful playing
julian phillips I agree he made the stones better
Mick Taylor was the best guitarist the Stones ever had. Period
Bill Myles One of? No. The best.
+Steven Slagle Agreed!
and one of the best rock/blues guitarists ever too... in any band
Agreed and Peter Green the best guitarist John Mayal ever had. Greetings
Mick was cut out by KR because of jealousy toward Mick. This due to Richards inability to do decent solos where as Mick could all night long.
Only 91000 views. Unbelievable. This is a great show. Mick Taylor still got it.
A TOTALLY magical concert by the Mick Taylor Band, the whole thing was just a great musical experience, thank you!!!
Mick's contributions on "Stones Exile on Main Street" is just Awesome!

Mick is the best, better than all the rest. I love Mick and the way his beautiful hands play guitar.💕
Been a fan of Mick Taylor since the first time I heard him play. A fantastic guitar player and a great source of inspiration!
I have just listened toTaylor's NO Expectation for the first time. It's very gooood! ! Thank you.
Mick Taylor the best sound! Stone and Bluesman!
Thanks for sharing
Taylor is the best blues
Guitarist in my humble opinion
Mick the Man. Would love to hear these guys live
MT's got great tone here, good playing and tight band....very cool
full and so clean sound, like perfect cutting glass, pure sound
He's superior, he's 2000 light years from the Stones
One of the blues greats. An uncanny ability to make that Gibson "talk."
Whatever "it" is, Mick has it.

Robert, it's the truth you speak about Ron Wood. Really good with the Faces. And Mick, Keith, and Ronnie all great guitar players.
So good to see Mick stretch out play the way he wants to. My gosh he can rock a slide. Awesome band and he looks happy !!!!!!
Mick taylor my capricorn brother awesome guitar playing as always what a legend would love to go to one of your concerts and meet you brother.🎸🎸

Fabulous, thank you!
Wow, what a performance and sound. I bought Mick Taylor Burst pickups for my guitar and can't wait to hear their sound.
Awesome! He’s definitely got his own style...Always been a fan since I heard him playing gimme shelter live in the stones 71-72 tours 👌
The Zen master of the blues guitar ...

I like his style of playing!
This is great Thanks !
Appreciate it thank you , and on my birthday too this live perfomance :)
This is pretty good. Thanks!
No Expectations sounded so nice. Great talent in all the band.
Mick Taylor fantastic guitarist !
Yeah!!!..the same....!..HE was the best Guitarist, the Stones ever had!!!!!
Ahh very nice. . .

First song v. Mayall-ish. Tasty playing by Mick as always.
Amazing 👌🏼
Let´s Get It...Straight To The Blues !...

Legend is correct. Really good band too.
Yes, Mick was fantastic. Notice, Rory Gallagher turned the Stones down.
extraordinario MT, los stones deben lamentar que se fuera
Totalmente de acuerdo, Sobre todo keith richards (uno de los guitarristas más sobrevalorado) que siempre necesita de otra guitarra como ayuda.
Who could POSSIBLY be the one jerk who gave this thumbs down?
His voice is pretty good here. But his playing is amazing and he plays all that slide in standard tuning on his lespaul. His strats are tuned to open g and e
The 8 Minute and 45 second mark and on just grabs me.
El mejor. Delos rolling stones
technically cleanest notes ,a true master

Excellent
mick taylor,a guitargod
I'm starting to think he has the most pleasing slide vibrato in the business..always reminded me a little of lowell george's too
Well mick is and will always be a blues guitarist, what does best mean?
SUPERB
🎶🎼🎼⭐️🎸
The Stones were never nearly as good after Mick Taylor left.Ronnie Wood no disrespect was not in the same league.
Agree 100% thought Ronnie Wood was much better with the Faces, where he had an identity.
MT proves you don't have to "shred" to be an effective inspirational musician.
Ммк просто красавчик!!!!!!!!!! Пусть с ним по пробуют!!!!!!!!!!!
Slick Taylor
Nice!
May I engage in a moment of heresy? I preferred this version of "Can You Hear Me Knocking" to the Stones'. There, I've said it!
Secret Affair
Twisted Sister
Losing My Faith
Late at Night
Burying Ground
Alabama
Blind Willie McTell
Can't You Hear Me Knocking(The Rolling Stones song)
No Expectations(The Rolling Stones song)
fucking legend
Ronnie couldn't open Micks guitar case
Me gusta.
Would have loved a great woman singer to accompany his guitar. Guess, you can’t have it all.😉
Leaving the Stones.....WHAT WAS HE THINKING?????
Different styles and egos.
he didn't want to die by drugs so he left the Stones , a wise decision...he still is with us and he looks alot better than Ronnie or Keith
Ronnie " sloppy " Woods couldn't string Mick Taylor's guitar if he tried !
Mick Taylor was something better at the lead guitar as Keith Richards, but thats´s just my opinion.
That's because Richard is a rhythm guitarist, not a lead guitarist.
omeletpants he alternates, eg he played one of the solos on Sympathy for the Devil on Ya Yas
omeletpants He's not able to play lead solo
Agreed but, Mick Taylor was and is a lot better than keith richards. keith is only more famous than Mick Taylor.
@@omeletpants Agreed. keith always needs another guitar player . keith is a bad guitar player (for me). And Mick Taylor is an excelent guitar player. Greetings

I like Ronny speed rock' n roll. I think he's a Johnny Winter inferior brother
M H Lee Ronnie is great also. Comparing him and Mick is like apples and oranges. That said, Mick is in a class by himself. He deserved a better fate.
Ronny plays guitar like a beginner. He's an exaple luck is more important then talent
+Roberto Provenzani Like a beginner?I teach guitar for a living and if one of my beginner students came in with the talent of Ron Wood i'd be like what am i doing here.

Are u sick?
Kinda boring. Vocals are disappointing.
Mick is good. Not great, but good.
He’s too mellow for many peoples taste, boring actually.
That’s one reason why he didn’t work out for the Stones.
I don't this dude is good at all
Mick's chops are pretty rusty here. Uninspired solos as well. Very disappointing. Hurts me to say that.
Enjoyed, Thanks
