Austin Davies haha, I know! I just said the same to a guy who said it was at 199 & I just saw it at 280plus. Clearly, there's nearly 300 idiots watching TH-cam, with no conception of an instrument called the guitar (strats, tele's, gold tops, SG's, etc) no idea where Chicago is, no idea of the genesis of blues music from African tribal rhythms, etc. You simply can't help some people, lol!

Gary was the best blues guitarist this planet has ever known, BB King loved him, I remember a comment made by him while he was playing on a show with Gary, "you're hot tonight young man" nothing compares, fastest lead licks I've ever heard and I've had the honour to hear him live at the UEA Norwich, I was absolutely devastated to hear that he had passed away while on holiday all those years ago now, I love all music, but when you hear Gary, it absolutely blows you away, makes me wonder, when I listen to the blues show on BBC radio 2 with the Mathew's girl, whether she has ever heard of the King of the blues, Gary Moore
suppose suppose suppose I am 69

All of the aforementioned were great in their own right. Stevie and his bending of freakin wire cables, Hendrix and his timing etc. All these GREAT masters brought something to the pot to make the stew better. It gets me how folks say "the best ever". All the greats sat at the same table. Btw Gary Moore was a greasy sick axe player...yes "one" of "many" bests. I wonder who died and made all these folks the judge of judges 🤔

Who can compare to the GM? This guy worked his whole life to perfect his abilities on the guitar. Can’t believe I missed him live....I got to see other amazing guitarists like George Benson and Robert Cray when I was only 15 so I would of definitely gone to see him too. He and Rory were already showing their commitment and skill on the guitar at a very early age, so you could only expect greatness and greatness they delivered. They earned their place in R and R heaven.

Yeah, most people associate him with the Les Paul, specially the 2 '59 he owned or Strats, but he literally used all types of guitars over the years.Custom shop Hamers,Jackson and Charvels( with EMG's to boot!),all types of Gibsons(from Explorers to L/P Jr.) and was even one of the first famous players, who used PRS guitars,in the late 80's.
