We booked a 5 night cruise on Majesty of the sea going in October. We booked it 7 weeks before leaving out. Included tips and all fees. Interior room was 810 for two people. Flying with cash in sky miles is 155 for 2 round trip tickets. Hotel night before cruise $85. So $1100 for a 6 day vacation😁
This is just superb, I been tryin to find out about "how can i get a cheap caribbean vacation?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Natipaan Cruiser framework - (do a search on google ) ? It is a great one off guide for revealing insider secrets of the cruise industry without the normal expense. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my neighbour got excellent success with it.
I don't believe hotel stay was mentioned. It falls into the optional category because people who live within driving distance (3 hrs or less) don't necessarily need one. Then there are those who take the first bird out the day of the cruise to the embarkation city. But for those who fly in the day before, it depends on your preferences in chain or quality level.
Hi Mat, It might be interesting for you to do a video showing exactly how to do a "fake" booking on RC web site so you can show where folks can make selections and then get the itemized per person cost of the cruise. I find this technique to be helpful in choosing exactly the details I want when I contact my travel agent.
OMG, there are so many variables to consider. Nail down your cruiseship and date, then work from there. I definitely recommend paying the gratuities up front with your cruise cost. Find a cruise close to home, parking fees are way cheaper at the port than flying your family in. I paid $176 for parking for an 8 night cruise. Drink packages are totally worth it. Even the non alcoholic package is great. My teens love frozen drinks, bottled Pellegrino, freshly squeezed OJ, and coffees like cappuccino. These all cost extra on the cruise, but are included in the Refreshment Package. If you love wine with your meals, you are looking at $12 per glass. You are allowed to bring two bottles per stateroom but I chose to bring champagne. You save so much with the packages. And, tips are pre-paid. Love it!
staydrunk405 I would definitely bring the allowed 2 bottles 750ml each. I opted to bring champagne because with my drink package it would be discounted only 40% and not totally like the wine.
My cruise rep always includes the gratuities when giving my costs. No surprises for later. I see no purpose in paying for the restaurants when you have already paid for the MDR and buffet as well as other free foods available. And in this day and age with our phones we take our own photos. Sure the others are nice and sometimes we will pay for one pic, it makes me crazy what they charge. We do pay for an excursion or two sometimes. I love cruising and want to do more of it, so for me I really try to keep my costs low.
Our 12 day carribean cruise for 2 in a mid ship unobstructed ocean view stateroom with Royal Caribbean's trip insurance and prepaid gratuities plus 2 special dinings, 1 soda drink package, and 1 excursion cost us $155 per day per person.
Just got back from Liberty last Sunday. For us it was so so. Food was o.k. at best the menu repeated a lot. Room attendant was almost non existent had to ask a different person every time we needed things. Fully booked so it was crowded at times and a little rowdy late in the evenings. Still a good time but not to previous Liberty standards. Have fun it's a nice trip either way.
@@Twelvefourtyseven The vessel was well maintained despite it's age it was everything else that didn't fall into place as it should have. Could have been crew burn out their turn around time is back breaking and we did go late in the season.
12: :47 Was surprised Liberty is 12 yr. August 2019 it was very clean & great service throughout ship. 🎉 Shout out to Anna 🎉 Very Nice & Considerate 🎉 Pools & Hot Tubs were too crowded for us though, but it was an amazing vacation! .... Heard Liberty is getting a Makeover soon... SweeT 🚢 E N J O Y
Drinks are done by the drink. Then there are the people that handle your luggage at the port and maybe the driver that transfers you to the port. I personally like to give a little extra tip to individual workers on the ship that seem to go beyond the usual to make my cruise enjoyable.
Voom internet on majesty of the seas never got above 2.5 MB/S . Was absolutely torturous :( and cost $226 for five days for four devices. I had to have it to keep up with work. Really just good enough for youtube and email but impossible to remote into machines at home and at work. So not excellent at all.
It depends. The price varies based on the type of room, sailing length, ship, and time of year. It's like asking "how much does a new car cost?". Do you want a pick up? Sedan? Mercedes? Ford?
So far the cheapest price I've ever seen was 22 dollars per night, but that was an MSC roundtrip European cruise from Southampton/London and does not include the gratuities.
I am going on a 7 day Europe cruise on the allure of the seas this my first cruise I need to know do I have to my money exchange to euro before I get there or can I use America money over there if any one knows could you please let me know thanks😁
you can ask your bank ahead of time to give you euros in different demonations. Tell the bank how much you want for example $500 they will sell you the euros so you have them before you get on the cruise. you can no doubt exchange on the cruise ship but the exchange will be lousy
Anybody who thought they could get an actual dollar amount are foolish. It depends on the ship, time of year, destinations, amount of guests, excursions you take, packages you purchase...etc.
Bradley Hiemstra Do Agree 🎉 Enjoyed our very 1sr last month. Went w/ couple whom had set up all for us.... 3 Special Dinners, Great Excursions, etc. 7 days was closer to $1,500... Didn’t buy special drink pkg. though. Enjoyed All So Much; if by ourselves, we’d get away for less. Thanks, I think it’s great to give others some kind of idea, I couldn’t find an actual figure listed prior to our trip. Hopefully we gave someone an idea 😎

Ever heard of - Natipaan Cruiser framework - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? It is an awesome one off guide for revealing insider secrets of the cruise industry without the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my partner got excellent success with it.

Paying for gratuity up front is not best for the staff. Tip each member individually.

RC Blog; Yes
Would be great to have more specific information on the photo package(s) available. Locations etc. This is the first video I've seen mentioning it.
Typically what is the down payment on a cruise? Thanks 😊
3 more days Liberty of the seas!!🤗

Ugghhh! Gratuity! I forgot all about that one! 🤦🏾♀️
Do you have to pay to use the fitness centre???
Only for the fitness classes. The gym itself with the machines, weights, etc is complimentary.
@@RoyalCaribbeanBlog Thanks for your quick response
How much in pesos?
My cruise in April added gratuity in the total. Are there more gratuity charges to look out for??

Don't forget embarkation port parking fees!
I’m on the freedom of the seas it’s very reasonable

Shane Murphy I’m on the freedom the WiFi sucks
Galveston is 6 hours from my house
Is there a way to take some of the food in the included places to go to eat in your room?
I clicked on this because I wanted to get an idea of what each of these things would cost! How much is the cabin per night per person?
It depends. The price varies based on the type of room, sailing length, ship, and time of year.

I'm in Nigeria. Do you have agent here in Lagos?
The fact you don't mention a penny in prices... it's pretty damned expensive.
The main thing is " how much does it cost for the tickket?"
How much ticket price
Anybody who thought they could get an actual dollar amount are foolish. It depends on the ship, time of year, destinations, amount of guests, excursions you take, packages you purchase...etc.
How much does it cost ?
Video: Well ! How much does you want it to cost ?
Great video!!
Now I want to book a ship now😂 in the morning
An my daughter is going to school now after 1hour
So I watched your video for 7 minutes to find out it depends 🤔

E N J O Y ‼️
Wishing here 😁
what were my nearly 500 dollar fees for???
Port fees and taxes are most likely. Those are levied by the government
Well, this is a mute question now because it's a lot more expensive now than in 2020! And getting more expensive every day!!! 🙄
Comments will give more info
I never fly soo I save a lot for my cruises flying sucks
Guessing about $2000 per person to be set up nicely on ship & at ports.
7 days 6nights
Not including shopping 😃
It can be done for $1000 per person easily

I am trying to afford a cruise on the carnival dream but it never seems to stop rising! I blame it on Biden-flation of course
💜💕
Not useful. Unable to get desired information. Very bad
If you're asking you can't afford it
Why do you speak so fast, I’m overwhelmed!
I like Carnival Cruise better
I have spent months researching saving money on cruise trips and found a fantastic resource at Carls Cruise Cutter (google it if you're interested)
