I have heard of bears being killed and eaten by tigers in Siberia but I'd have to question weather this is a Black Bear or a much larger adult Brown Bear? All The Brown Bears I've seen are the ones that have been killed stuffed and put on display usually in a very intimidating pose they are ENORMOUS I just couldn't see even a large tiger getting the best of one these colossus beasts.

I raise large breed domestic goats and I have an Alpine male goat that I believe could give a black bear a hard time. He has knocked five holes through my barn and torn a three foot wide hole through the wall of a mobile home on my property. He also has broken the leg of a Nubian buck that had to be put down afterwards. When he fights he doesn’t just butt . He also gores by jerking his head backwards. So it is possible for a large male goat to kill a bear if it gets in the first lick. And goats also have a lot of stamina. That goat of sometimes will bang his head and knock things around for 2 to 3 hours when the females are in heat.
This isn't the normal way it works. A goat 99.9% of the time will be the bears prey. PERIOD A adult brown bear is an enormous forbidding creature worthy of all other animals respect. They may have been talking of a black bear, or a sick or injured brown bear. A brown bear especially of the Kodiak islands are ENORMUS more than enough to kill and consume one of its normal prey a goat.
