Having had two fuel pumps die over the years in my NP Pajero I think I’d replace the pump and filter together. Unless you really need to save money and you don’t mind doing this work again.
I replaced them both recently and it stopped my engine “missing”.
Great video, thanks.
Hey mate, by "missing" do you mean misfiring/knocking?
Can you make a video on how to replace the fuel gauge sending unit? Thank you
Will do it Thanks
@@carfix1993 i had a problem with mine.. Its inaccurate and i cannot find its location.. Hoping you can help me..
I think not the fault of sender unit common issue is faulty cluster guage
Not showing readings properly
Check your cluster or swap
@@carfix1993 thank you..
Is this the same as 6G74?
Your an absolute legend for making this you help so much cheers mate
I am so confused, you did a great job by the way, but you didn’t change the fuel pump, and the little filter, the white one, you just change the plastic white thing, I am the opposite, I’m planning to change, the black fuel pump, and the little fuel filter, I don’t get it.?
the 'plastic white thing' is the filter
Yes
@@carfix1993can you provide filter part number? Thanks.

@@JasminaDragunov I was thinking the same....(not about the bmw)
Pajeros just need specific tools at times, like the timing belt tensioner.

Great Tutorial
Is the same for 4gen? (2008)
Yes
the o rings are the biggest problem and causes of problems with the fuel tank
Can you elaborate? I'm having issues losing prime on mine and I can't get it to start now.
