Thanks for all the videos, I use them every day, they're a massive help! Hope you're well (Y) If you haven't already, you should play Noel's new one, the dying of the light. His best work for a while, i recon you'd love it! Merry christmas from Liverpool!
Hey man, great cover! I think your chords are right, and the discussion about D or D7 - well, the intro starts with a D (and the outro ends also with a D) but the rest of the song, verses and chorus is Dmaj7. That's what makes the song so warm.
Hey, lets start a band here in Florida! call it the forever Beatles heee might have to by a cover for my balding head Once again thank you, for posting these wonderful instructions☻
Sometimes I think that George Martin, with his classical training and musicianship, came up with some of these chord voicing ideas. Probably suggesting things here and there when they were being recorded.
Oh my gosh… I hate to be a downer since you've gone to the trouble to put this up and I see that you have over 65,000 views of it… but the first chord that you're playing that you describe as a D Major is actually a D Major7. In addition, D Major7 isn't the correct chord, even though it sounds really nice! It sounds so nice that I'm going to consider playing it that way from now on :) But I just wanted to set the record straight- it's not the chord played on the original recording.

Wow, I saw a three piece band cover this in Central Park just outside of Strawberry Fields. Always takes me back to NYC when I hear it now.
Indulge all you want. We all love the Beatles.
I'd appreciate a tutorial of "there's a place" from the album please please me

To make that Em7 much easier, just fret the A string at the 2nd fret and strum all 6 strings. Thanks for the lesson!
Great job!
Love the T shirt...must get one myself.
Fab as usual bud
Main verse is Dmaj7 - Bm7 - Em7 - A (some play A7).
Bridge is D9 - G - F#7 - Bm - D - D7 - G - E9 - A
1st chord is Dmajor 7th. Terrific tutorial..

In the bridge it's not a E major chord but E9 to A7.
Im quite sure its just D, Bm ,Em and A.
Nope

Once again thank you, for posting these wonderful instructions☻
Hi George! 23:20 I wonder if E7 isn't better. Both Emaj to E7 would do I guess. What do you think?
it's like being in the room with you. ta, mate
Do you got the instrumental version like on Hard Days night?
The first chord is a D major the voice sings a C # .
it started out easy until second first

Check out.... Beatles - Harry and Paul
Nice with one comment. The first chord is a D - and if you play it like John did, the pinky goes on the 4th fret, 4th string.
Can you teach the song Here Today by Paul McCartney. I will follow you anywhere if you can,
please men i need you cover
Nice song. The first chord in the intro - is that not DM7, not DMaj?
And outro c7 g c7 g c7 g cadd9 fadd9 f. Dont say this is correct but thats what i have in my beatles book cheers mate great job you do thanks
I think if you had included the intro chords it would have been a more thorough tutorial
Beautiful job. But is that first chord really a D major? Those Beatles were geniuses, weren't they?
Sometimes I think that George Martin, with his classical training and musicianship, came up with some of these chord voicing ideas. Probably suggesting things here and there when they were being recorded.
DM7
D Bm Em A are the first 4
Not a D but a D major 7th. (DMAJ7)
I think that only i playng d chord in this song selfsame
